Try moong daal with kalaunji(Nigella seeds) it's one of my favourite... Lemme tell you the recipe Take some moong daal.. dry roast it when it changes the colour little bit on the reddish side it will start giving a saundha smell take it out from the pan then wash it remove all the water keep it in stainer aside. Cut two medium sized tomatoes.. slit two green chillies. In pressure cooker add some mustard oil or you can use any oil but I never tried with any other oils.. Okay add some oil let it heat for a while add some kalaunji/Nigella seed in it .. Add the green chillies Add the chopped tomatoes. Stir it a while Add turmeric powder Salt according to the taste And some sugar just a hint of sugar believe me sugar is the game changer so add it Add the daal fry it a bit again Add the hot water in it close the vessels Cook it as. You cook the daal normally then after cooking it when you'll open the dhakkan Add some chopped coriander leaves... Believe me it tastes wow .. I had learn it from a Bengali friend's mom .. must try it for one's ❤❤❤❤ lot's of love

Daal/Rice U will get insects its very normal so my Mom use to 1st clean and then put few tablespoon of oil and just lightly rub & no more insects, I am following her footsteps. You can add slightly crushed clove as well when you add jeera (at the Beginning when you give tadka or chokte ho jab) in moong daal. It tastes so good. My daadi used to make it this way. You can give it a try😊 Ivan is so expressive. So cute..please give him hugs and kisses from my side😘❤️
