Why would anyone want to pay $3M to live in urban Milwaukee? The weather is terrible and it's not a cool city. You put up with urban ugliness when it's an amazing city, like San Francisco, Chicago or New York. The only reason to be in Wisconsin is for the peace in the rural areas and the natural beauty. There you have to put up with all the yahoos and ignorance but the trade off is the nature. For $3M in the countryside, you can have a palace. But $3M for a condo? In Milwaukee? You have neither the culture nor the beauty, what's the point? At least go live in a pretty area like on Lake Drive or up in Whitefish Bay for that amount of money.
