Merry Christmas Eve!! Adwoa is a Black Owned Brand sold in Sephora! Have you ever tried this collection? I forgot to include the prices in the video but they range from $22-$36. Also I forgot to mention that the mint does irritate the eyes a bit during the washing process. @@christabelmateta i stopd sectioning mines when washing. Its not bad my hair almost under my shuldr blades. Nd it SHRINKz. Just try it. Dnt make it stressful nd give 'self sum extra time.☺ yu can cause yur parts to become highways if sectioning in same sections all the time.

It's just... it's not that I'm NOT lazy (because I am lol) but because that step saves hours later. It's an investment! But if others don't have a detangling problem, I would wash it loose if I were them too.. also I'm jealous

I love their line with the exception of the gel. I like everything else though. It’s pricey but works well. The curling cream doesn’t work as well without the leave in. Just a side not if people only buy one. The leave in is meant to be used with the curling cream.

Love Adwoa! I was ready to throw it out until I added heat to the deep conditioner! That changed the game for me. I have the gel but haven’t used bc I’m just not a gel girl but I love the entire line including the oil.

Y’all if u use the leave in on soaking wet hair, I promise it with change your life. I have medium-porosity 4c hair and it is a staple. I was making the mistake on using it on damp/dry hair.

I love this brand. They have been game changers in the health and maintenance of my hair. My favorite product is actually the leave in. I love how balanced my hair feels when I use it as a base for a style. I’m used to using heavier leave ins but I find this to have sufficient moisture. I plan on using up my haircare stash and only repurchasing this line and Kinky Tresses because they are my faves. Thanks for sharing!

Thank goodness i watched this before i ran out to get the leave in. I picked up the deep conditioner from TJMAXX and i fell in LOVE ❤️ I literally had to remove my camille rose deep conditioner from my shower cause baby!!!!! This deep conditioner will forever get my coins going forward ❤❤ will try to go find that butter creme styler though. I appreciate you fam!!!! You always give ALL the good tea 🍵 ❤❤❤

I watched Faye in the City’s review of this line and she used heat for a few minutes when using the leave in styler so maybe that’ll help it penetrate your hair

It’s about time sis!!! I’m glad you loved them cause they are my fav. The products do require for the hair to be wet, because they are extremely concentrated. So I’d definitely consider it the next time you try them out. I’m also surprised you didn’t get the oil as well.

I love the Adwoa leave in, oil, and the cream. These products are some of my staples for LOC method when doing my flat twists. And like you said, the moisture level is A1. I also top it off with Mane Choice braid out glaze for hold. That combo is a sure win every time but I must give the disclaimer that I only wear my twists in an updo so not sure how twistout would hold up! I still want to try the Adwoa deep conditioner but I’m waiting for the trial kits to return next year. I want to know that I love it before I spend $30 plus. Your hair looks bomb!

Adwoa Beauty products were the 1st products I finally encountered I really considered to be "holy grail" products in my stash. And I'm a, certified, product junkie so that's saying something. But, just a warning, if you're looking into trying the cream w/a gel, the Adwoa Beaty gel styler & their cream are not meant to be mixed. They fight. It ain't pretty. So save your coin if that's the only reason you'd want to try their gel. Although, their gel can also be used for twist outs, instead of their cream styler, & it does offer some additional hold you mentioned was lacking w/the cream & it's, also, very moisturizing. Anyway, great review. Thanks.

After your review I’m interested in trying the cream. I liked how descriptive you were when talking about the products. I care more about moisture than definition so I do wash and goes with cream products. I can’t stand the feel of gels and when I do a trust out I fluff it till it looks like I didn’t 😅

Hey Queen!! I am so glad you tried this. I love the shampoo and conditioner but was not a fan of the leave-in. The gel works well in a wash in go in my son’s hair but you have to complete the wash and go on soaking wet hair and sit under the dryer. I cannot stand being wet like that and I am lazy!! My son’s hair lasts about two weeks because his hair is short in the back and sides but longer on top.

I tried this line maybe about 2 yrs ago and was most disappointed, especially in the deep conditioner, which had zero slip for me. I ended up giving it away. You win some, you lose some. Glad you liked it though!

So I would not dissuade anyone from buying it. I know of people with all different hair types who personally love it. Maybe you can try just one of their products instead of the whole line. I'm 4b/c btw.

This brand in particular seems polarizing, everyone swears it's top tier or they're unimpressed, I've been using the lines that are agreeable for most types (Camille Rose / Mane Choice) but I guess I'm branching out looking for stuff tailored to my hair. I'll hold out until they make samples, imo you KNOW a product can sell itself if there's a sample size xD

I had the same problem with the deep conditioner and detangling afterward didn’t help my hair so I use it with curls and potions rice water now bc that has good slip and I didn’t want to waste my money

I love the Adwoa brand. I tried it a year ago and the shampoo, DC and LI are my staples. I haven't tried the twist cream or gel yet. Just got my order for the gel and I am looking forward to pairing it with the leave in for a twist out.

Love Adwoa Beauty but the gel works better for type 4 hair. The gel is A1! The leave in is amazing but should be applied to soaking wet hair. Then you’ll see the slip! It’s really a luxury line.

Yes, all her products work best on soaking wet hair. At first, I didn't like the deep conditioner until I saw a video explaining how to use it. Applied to soaking wet hair and heat was a game-changer for me. I also add the leave-in when I want a quick but soft wash & go to soaking wet hair. I do the Dicky method and shake. And boom curls. I also have type 4 hair and low porosity.
