Exquisite. Recently I have looked at many such videos of apartments available in Paris. The decor has ranged from the hideous to the sublime. This is the only one to which I would change nothing in order to suit my persoanl taste. Truly a first class but non-pretencious gem; a real home.

J'ai eu le tournis. Je crois que le montage de la vidéo y est pour beaucoup ! 😊 Je trouve cet appartement exquis. Le charme de l'apparat et des pièces moins nobles avec de sympathiques recoins partout. Les arrondis des fenêtres sont magnifiques. Le côté privatif mérite une rénovation dans le respect de l'existant si précieux. En espérant que le propriétaire n'abattra pas les cloisons pour en faire un faux loft avec le mauvais goût actuel du faux industriel noir et blanc qui dénaturerait presque 150 ans d'histoire.

Well, there goes my lottery dream of landing a Paris apartment. Even at the high end of the market the spacing is infinitely awkward and cramped. En-suite bathroom for the kiddy bedroom but not for the master bedroom? How did they make it work in the old days and ladies with their massive hoop skirts?

This is cramped. That big refrigerator in the middle of nowhere. How do they open the doors?? Also, the kids bathroom was really tight. It is beautiful to look at but it needs to be reconfigured to make the space work better.

When you say "reconfigurated", do you mean "distroy" many walls even though they are related to the initial typical "distribution à la française" ? Pièces de réception : Entrée, salon, salle à manger. Bureau actuel. Pièces privées : chambres, salle d'eau/bain, placards partout, cuisine éloignée de la salle à manger avec un accès par l'extérieur pour les domestiques. I find this flat particularly elegant and charming.
