Luxury Picnic: DIY Canopy & Tee Pee!

I wanted to have a canopy / tent for a party so I decided to make one. This was a simple DIY build that took a couple of hours and cost under $50.00

I used:
6 - 1"x2"x72" pine boards
2 - 3/8" eye bolts for the cross brace levers
2 - 3/8" wing nuts for the 3/8" eye bolts
2 - 3/8" eye bolt caps for the ends of the eye bolts (as added protection from any sharp edge on the bolts)
6 - 1/2" washers for the top eye bolts (2) and bottom brace supports (4)
2 - large eye hook fasteners (used to secure the braces once opened
4 - 1/4" eyebolts for the bottom brace supports
1 - 60" closet rod
2 - closet rod anchors
4 - 3" wood screws to screw the top dowel to the supports
1 pair of tab top curtains
1 shower curtain
twine
Tools:
Pencil, drill/ screw gun, tape measure and a saw of some sort (or ask your local lumber yard to cut the wood to length for you)

Hi Very beautiful, but what length did you actually cut braces at bottom of canopy?

The bottom braces are the same length as the top ones. Length should match what you have and be long enough to have the bolts go through them.thanks for watching and enjoy your new canopy!
