Omg those loubutins are show stoppers! Sooo beautiful and I believe the heel high is perfect because shoes themselves are very special. And I can say upfront that you will love the GR sandals- bought same just in pink version for my best friends’ wedding and danced with them all night. Really beautiful classic but modern shoes. The new CL pumps are like something out of a fairytale - stunning! I hope you enjoy wearing them. I have always struggled with heels because I can't walk on high ones and find them uncomfortable. As such I mostly wear flat pumps, ballet-style. I've seen in a few of your videos now that you recommend Gianvito Rossi for comfort. Which GR pumps do you think would be best for me as a "beginner" to heels? Thank you for any advice x

Definitely go for a lower heel and suede if you can. Gianvito Rossi do a 70mm and an 85mm, so just depends on what you're comfortable with! I take them TTS, but for the first couple of wears, they are a little snug before the suede adapts to your feet. After that, they really are very comfortable for me! I would try to resist going up a size because if they're too loose, then your foot won't feel as stable which does contribute to the discomfort. I hope this helps! :) xx

I don't but I do know that plenty of ladies do. I think it just depends on how much it bothers you. If it will drive you nuts, then definitely worthwhile to do! I don't mind so much as long as the visible part of the shoe (when I'm wearing them) is fine :)

Agreed! The GVR are very comfortable and way more comfortable than the JC and MB versions of the basic heel. Iriza is also the most comfy CL style. Great pics! For reference, I am about a 36 in heels and wide feet in toe box area.

Wow! Stunning shoes 👠 😊 I think the most I’ve spent on shoes were Swarovski Golden Goose. They were totally covered in crystals so definitely not cheap 😬 I hear you on the cost per wear thing, but these definitely bring me joy. They’re just stunning to look at especially when the light hits them. I love the last pair of heels and I think they will look amazing with so many outfits. I would force myself to come up with multiple outfit options and find any possible occasion to wear them lol

@@ChaseAmie I do! Not the Swarovski crystal pair, but my more classic, neutral pairs. I love the Superstars because I have a narrow foot, but I also really like the Hi-Stars and the PureStars. The Hi-Stars have more of a platform and the PureStars are more of a stylish “comfort-centric” shoe. Those seem to have more padding than the other styles, and are a go-to for me. I have too many pairs of GG at this point but I really love them. I recommend trying any style that appeals to you, but I would suggest trying a pair of suede SuperStars. They are really versatile and super comfortable…& often are not as heavily distressed as some of the others. Sometimes the distressing can be a little over the top lol. In my experience, Once you get a pair, you rarely stop at one 😊

So I usually choose the heel height based on where I'm planning on wearing them and for what. For me, the Bing heel is very much a special occasion shoe so I'd always go higher. For something a little plainer, that I'd want to wear more often (and where comfort is a bigger factor), then a lower heel is more practical :)

Depends on the shoes but if I want to keep them, then usually I stack them inside large boxes and store them in a storage room :)

i had a pair of suede flats which was destroyed the first time i wore them because it was pouring rain that day... at the time i had no idea what to do and just left it to dry by itself, like all my other shoes... i had no choice but to throw them out because it was properly destroyed... any tips on what to do when suede shoes got drenched??? thanks!!

If they get really wet, then I would let them dry but if you have any stuffing or a shoe mold/tree - to put those in there so they don't dry into a different shape. Once dry, there are plenty of suede cleaners/ repairers out there if you need to repair any damage - and then I would spray them with some Scotchgard to help protect against future rain! It really is a miracle worker. I got caught in a torrential downpour in my SW over the knee boots and they were completely unscathed because of the scotchgard!

Hi Amie, because of your recommendations I recently got Gianvito Rossi Pumps and I love them :) I have a general question related to designer heels though - do you put something on the sole to protect them? I have also pumps from Jimmy Choo and only after one wear the sole looks horrible, I am afraid to wear them more because I have a feeling that it will get ruined :( Any suggestions would be appreciated

You know, I don't but I do understand what you mean. I try not to stress too much about shoes getting dirty (at least the bits that aren't visible when wearing!) because I feel like I'll go crazy if I start worrying about that haha! I would say the only part that I really get concerned about is the tips because I do find that wear on the front of the shoe sole can then creep into the actual front of the shoe. So while I don't put entire sole protectors on there, I have taken some pairs to a cobbler and put on little sole tips to protect against wear there.
