dude it puts a loaf of bread in your oven. most of your decorations in the kitchen are ruined. I tried it on a recent project and I had to remove everything I used it for, it is low quality, low res, mumbo jumbo meaningless shapes (look at your eggplant). it improves one area and ruins 9. try it with high rises it will fail miserably. but you know whomever believes the hype and wants to split me in half for my criticisms good luck and power to you. I am pretty sure you are making so much money lol. the worst part when the client asks for more details to be added or things to be fixed, or worse when the client asks for, you know, intentional designs to be put in the project.

magnifica ai is overhyped, especially if you have humans in your renders. i hope it improves because it could be a mssive timesaver, but for now i've not been impressed

@@pondeify I had discussions with another architect and we think they disfigure the people on purpose to avoid legal issues. the AI porn industry has perfect looking women that will ruin sex for you. but for architecture we are 5 years behind.

I remember when I first started with 3d max (it was called 3d studio back then) things were so slow and renders looked cartoonish at best... ten years later and things improved by leaps... now wait 5 or ten years and AI will be doing the impossible... just my two cents regards

I think its a tool to be used in moderation. Some parts of the image it has definitely improved, it's easy to mask out the unwanted changes in PS. You're missing the point of how this tool can be leveraged.
@MelbourneArchviz
@MelbourneArchviz Жыл бұрын
@@J0shh1 listen I know you can mask out stuff, in practicality what you said doesn't work, if you work in this business you know the client is going to make a ton of changes and a lot of them are specific and intentional, you will end up rephotoshopping a lot of stuff and wasting a lot of time and never getting exactly what you or the client wants. Here's a challenge for you, on your next project, use this tool, and come back to us let us know if you lost a client. I did and I had to remove every AI element I added. It is simply not practical. Even if you sharpen areas and add details to them you will have to go through the AI step one more time and one more time and one more time as the client makes changes or design changes and every single time the result will be different. Fuck me for putting my two cents in nobody likes my comments, then later on they do what I say and claim they came to this conclusion by themselves. I have been doing this and going against the current for 30 years.

Computer, robot and artificial intelligence definitely excel Because you, human, use logic to understand colors, materials, geometry, modeling, etc You use logic to understand color theory and so on For you, it's just an appreciation for showing beauty While computers and robots do this mathematically and perfectly There is no competition with artificial intelligence, and it will soon take over everything, and humans will do nothing but yoga!

Are there any AI tools that can take a CGI rendered video and enhance it to look more photorealistic?

I think we need to start adding a "Made By Humans, For Humans" seal to stuff that is made with care for humans. AI is trained with the content from artist. Lets start taking a fee of 50 % for AI work.

Yeah, $39/month for the basic is not doing it for me really. All these subscriptions start to add up in a big way, I had to cull a load last month.

@@HappymadSadlabNot just AI tools, all video and 3D tool subscriptions. Swap C4D for Blender and UE5 and you're saving a fortune straight off the bat. Get rid of Adobe and there's another big saving. Subscriptions just add up.

I agree with this. I have been trying them out and seeing what sticks. I see some like Runaway combining multiple tools more of the way to go.

Don't be. I'm working as a 3d designer in a furniture company and we render images of furniture in living spaces. The arrival of AI really helps my workflow. At the moment, it does not render final product quality. It looks good from far, but as you zoom in everything is just gibberish. But AI is good for some design inspirations. There are some AI that can also create 3d from your sketches with mappings based on your prompts. Although its quite rough but its a good enough base model to retrace back to make it beautiful. My advice, just learn your 3d skills and that skills can be used in a lot of industries such as architecture, interior designs, product designs, movies, games etc. AI is a smart tool and a smart tool is only as smart as the user. Trust me, on its own, it doesn't know much. An image of a furniture with empty white background VS a furniture in an already nice roomview: AI can work better with the roomview. It's dumb when it comes to empty canvas.

Can't see a.i replacing a good 3d modeller or artist any time soon. You guys can go learn modelling In the traditional way. There's always time to improve workflow.

It is and it isn’t. None of these companies think of anything other than money, the tech however can be useful in the right hands, but as for now, it’s all gimmicky stunts hoping to grab people’s attention and save themselves from bankruptcy
