Interval: An interval is the time or space between two things. Think of it as a gap or break. For example, if you have two classes, and there's a 15-minute break between them, that 15 minutes is the interval. Example: "There is a 10-minute interval between the end of one TV show and the start of the next." Duration: Duration refers to how long something lasts. It’s the total time from the start to the end of something. Example: "The movie's duration is two hours," meaning the movie lasts for two hours. Period: A period is a length of time with a beginning and an end. It can be short or long, and often refers to something that happens regularly. Example: "The period of World War II was from 1939 to 1945," meaning the war lasted from 1939 to 1945. How to use them: Use interval when talking about the space or time between two events. Use duration when talking about how long something lasts. Use period when referring to a length of time, often with a start and end. I hope that helps!
