If you can't afford designer bags and feel a certain way about expensive designer bags, then don't watch this video. Like do you read a video title before clicking on it? The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. I wanted to know which designer bag was truly worth my hard-earned money and one that I would get the most out of. For reference: Speedy 30 Damier Ebene (July 2007) - 34,200 (grabe double the price na now) Pochette Métis mono (July 2016) - P86,000 Pochette Métis Empriente (April 2017) - P108,000 And my Neverfull MM bought in 2007 in HK for about 32,000

Hi. Thanks for stopping by. I think it matters based on your personal taste. I prefer the empreinte because it’s a bit more understated (I’m not a monogram fan). The reverse mono is just a little too much logos for me. So think about what you like and go from there. As for going brand new or second hand, if you have the budget for it, just go for brand new. Getting it from the boutique is still a different experience in itself. I don’t see why you should go preloved if you don’t have any challenges, budget-wise.

I don’t think there are tax refunds here in the Philippines (as far as I know). As for installments, at the most, it’s only up to 3 months for certain credit cards… at least last time I asked.

I have always wanted the speedy 25 b but sadly its out of out most of the time. The first time i inquired at the boutique was in 2017 or 2018. It was not available at that time. So i just somehow forgot about it and thought id look for it next time. This year I tried my luck and unfortunately it is still OOS. With the ridiculous yearly price increase im committed to buy it this year. Any tips on how i can get hold of the speedy 25b at the boutique here?

My only suggestion is really to have a CA you can reserve the item with. I remember back in 2019, we surprised our mom with a trip to LV for her birthday and kinontrata ko yung CA na yun ang plano namin. I told her to have a few bags ready to show and the speedy b 25 was one of them. I also told her our budget. It was a great surprise and experience overall for our mom. Now, given the situation, stocks might not arrive as often as before but if you have a CA, you don’t need to go to the store physically to find out when the item you want comes in. It’s a classic item so they will consistently get stocks of this. I recommend Ms Shelly (her IG profile is linked in the description) who’s my CA. I reserve and prepay items with her so once the new stock comes in, she can have it on hold for you. They can even arrange delivery to your house. I dont know if i could call it pre-order kasi the description on the “receipt” was left blank. nakakapraning lang coz when i emailed client services to double check they said this: “Due to high demand and fluctuating inventory, we have no visibility for the availability of this items nor can we offer call back or reservation services for this style.” Fingers crossed i can get it this year talaga. 🤞🏼 Btw, great content. Addendum: The fact that magkakaiba ang sinabi ng client services and my CA worries me.. but if ur CA allows you to also preorder and actually delivers the items to you once available then maybe my CA can do the same. Hopefully.

I’m not that familiar with pricing on LV bags. I would suggest you check out Fashionphile, TheRealReal or Vestiaire Collective and check what are the selling prices there. Do take note that the sites would probably take between 25-50% cut from the sale.

Yup that’s pretty standard for the service. It’s a headache to sell bags, honestly. Dealing with inquiries, making sure you don’t get scammed, getting the payment and shipping the item. It’s a lot of work than most people think. 😊 Good luck and hope you find a buyer. 👍
