Thanks! I do like that it's so different and fun too. :) I definitely don't like the guitar strap on the alma but they make those in such pretty colours! Also, I wish the classic Alma strap was adjustable as it's on the long side for me. Still, a great top handle and I'll crossbody it in a pinch!

It didn't take any time to grow on me!! 😍 The black one is also my favorite, it's beautiful. I wish they were more careful with the stitching on the charm, not just because of the collection to which it belongs, but because they should always do it to perfection. The other colors do grow on us, you're absolutely right! Personally, I think I would prefer smaller pieces (like slg's) in the red and the yellow, and just keep the black Alma, which is really stunning (I think I finally found "my" Alma!!). Your words about Yayoi Kusama were not only informative, but also so moving. I've been a fan of her work for so many years, this new collaboration with LV has been very exciting for me and I honestly don't feel the need to compare it to the first one. They are both unique and reflect different stages in her life and work, exactly as you've mentioned. Thank you, this video was great, I loved it!! Also glad to know you're a Kusuma fan too. :))) Thanks for sharing, because you're absolutely right, there's no need to compare the different stages of her work because they show her journey and evolution. It does feed into the meaning of her work that she moved from a place of neurosis and despair (as I remember her early stuff having a repeated theme on death) to one of universal hope and peace, as she does still have her condition but she seems to have a handle on it. It feels like we are all broken in our own ways, some more obvious than others, and her story inspires me alot. Lovely connecting with you!

Hi there, I decided on the black in the end. I got the red and didn't like the tone of red it had, so I returned it immediately. I like the kirigami pochettes too, because it also has the yellow which I kind of adore. Look at your current bag collection and see if an Alma BB will fill any gaps? If you already feel like you have too many, then I would go for the kirigami. But if you want a substantial piece, I feel like you can't go wrong with the black Alma, it's really easy to match. Hope this helps! :)

Congrats!! This bag is so cute!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍 I really wish they sold the pumpkin charms separately too. For the chemical smell, that happened to me once too! When I got my Neverfull in empreinte leather it smelled like lemon-scented cleaner. I just left the bag out for a few days and the smell went away.

I love the pumpkin charms too and yes, if they sold them separately, I'd be collecting them in every color! 😆 Soon after I made this video, I caught a cold and my sense of smell hasn't returned fully so I can't smell it. 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 I'm hoping there'll still be some of that treated leather smell when I recover. Hahah. Thanks for sharing your experience with the chemical smell, it's definitely stronger on the inside of the bag.
