The idea of using the non-ex version of MBD is so that the dmg of the other skills and your Mag.Def will be increased by that +30% INT most of the time and you won't have to spam skill to get the lost bubbles back. That is, as long as you stack a lot of Int. Moreover due to the very-short range that Smash-X has you need a large enough DPS windows (which btw aren't too many in a boss fight) to execute it properly. This means that you won't be using it as much as you think you would. So that 6s CD on MBD Ex isn't all that usefull. Another think I want to add is that if you have a lot of INT stacked then MBD Ex dmg won't be that higher then MBD Norm due to the fact that you can cast norm with max bubble and Ex only with 20 or less.

I recommend just farming with what you have first and get a higher enhancement level on weapons/extra stat plates and talismans, accessories that can push more on base matk.

definitely rd L set, weapons especially, other armor parts can kinda ignore unless you need the hp.. the best currently is id L set, if you're able to farm/buy service for them.

legend ice dragon* not the unique ones, if you have the legend ones then that's the best you can go for already.

if you can build fd, go fd, if not build crit, then focus int and then pretty much get yourself L grade if possible, if not just go for epic/unique gears. as simple as that. crit/fd on plates, int on talismans.

crafting plates that drop from nest, crafting talismans. there is no other way you can get a 2nd/3rd stat int by just having the item to drop.

Yes this is from SEA server. I have one advice, if you can't spend on this game then better not go for a DPS class, instead go for a support. The game is just... going towards that direction if you know what i'm trying to say.

it is a really kidney killing class xD and yes, clerics only support would be priest>saint branch, academic support would be alchemist>physician branch, these 2 are the main healers for the game, cheap DPS classes are those agi-based classes, since agi gives you critical and str/int users have problem hitting critical cap without having the need to spend a lot more on items that push their crit while an agi class doesn't. agi classes like chaser>raven OR ripper, academic>engineer>gearmaster OR shootingstar, archer>bowmaster>sniper, that's pretty much it.

moonlord is considered the magic swordsmen from warrior class, so you have to build intel for this class to prosper, then you have to build critical in ways possible, there is these "plates" that gives you stats enhancement, they sometimes come with random stat, and these stats are very expensive depending on what kind of stat they are, and they have critical on them too, most moonlord plates would have plates with additional crit stat on them, having rings that push critical, talisman that helps with crit, small things like that, and when you realize you have enough crit then only you can start trading off crit for additional int for more damage output etc, or changing rings to magic attack instead of using critical etc, things like that you have to decide later throughout the game xD

definitely legend rd, just because it's an easier raid/less tanky raid meaning to say even if you go with unique lv90 gears you can clear it with ease, of course you need the experience for the raid too. ice dragon unique gears will be quite tough to get because a lot of mechanics require you to have a huge chunk of dps to be able to break the superarmor mechanics, spirits wisps, crystals etc, which means you need a certain level of L rd gear before you can go for ice dragon, but ideally you won't wanna upgrade from L rd to ice dragon unique, instead to L ice dragon instead.

Oh no.. I don't make anything off YT, the videos here are just a small proof of my hobby. Some videos have music because I have more time to edit them, especially if the video is done in the afternoon/early night and some don't because like this video is done at wee hours of 3am-ish, which I don't exactly have the time to put in any good music so I decided to just get the BGM sound in + my intro and render for YT quality, that's pretty much why.

would be nice to go 3lrdn, ring/ring/necklace, helps a lot for critical, but if u don't need the fd then can go dual skill cyan with ele att/matk or crit and a cyan neck/ear with int base stat, would push alot for stat also. depends on what you plan overall. if that 327 fd can get u more than 8% fd, then use 3lrdn, if not stick to skill would be better.

Why mbd isn't EX?

MBD EX consumes 30bubble upon usage, which also cuts your intel by 30% upon casting, but reduces cd to 6s which is good for Smash X, but I think having the consistent 45~50% intel bonus/buff is better for players who stack intel, it provides more for the other skills, so instead I am using MBD CD plate to make up for the CD from 14s to 11.2s to make up for that EX's 6s CD. In return i get 30% intel bonus damage from MBD(of course having EX lets you use MBD plate that grants you 20% more damage from it + additional EX hit). But overall it should depend on your playstyle preference if it comes to choosing non EX or EX. My recommendation would be having EX if you are using lv90/93 gears that doesn't provide any additional intel and have non ex for those having stacked intel, L users(have been asking a china player about his preference, stalking CDN forum threads to understand what I am getting myself into therefore to me non ex is a better choice for me). Sorry for the extra info but I think I should just add in just for the sake of anyone else who plans on asking this question. x_x

I guess you went back to ML because they are about as equal as Gladiators now, but much MUCH easier to use. With the new side dodge, and trust me, this skill is an absolute must with using it after every skill, it's DPS potential is very high, but very hard to get used to. Same with getting all hits on Hyper Drive. Am I wrong?

I'd still say glads are so much more superior, but the gaps between both classes have closen up, that's for sure. Glad's playstyle is actually not that easy after they add in side dodge and hyper drive, you need to play more reactionary, much more reactionary than before when glad was more of evasion slash/front shove on time for that additional , now you have much more to play around with, and it gets difficult if you mess your keys a little, especially when side dodge becomes annoying if you have the habit to hold your directional keys as you use skills, but it's no longer about spamming FAs on glad, but more of how consistent you can go with the dps, FAs cd increased by quite a lot, not sure if 20 bubbles will cut FA's cd by half upon casting it at 20 bubbles, works for other servers, but not for SEA, not sure if intended or bugged as the class mastery 1 doesn't state FA in the 50% CD reduction on the skill list.

They fixed the effect with FA. It no longers reduce CD at 20 bubbles. You just have to get used to not holding onto the keys with SD. It takes a while but you'll get it eventually. SD has a lot of DPS potential but sadly it was nerfed recently where it doesnt consume 4 bubbles and on a 5 second CD. We have Hyper Drive and you can rotate it really well with FA too. Hyper Drive becomes the top DPS skill for Gladiator while FA is catching up coming in second due to HD being able to use from 100%-0%. That also has some getting used to esp if you're trying to play fast which is supposed to be like that. That's the beauty of Gladiator, contently changing.

Well 30 bubbles is so easy to obtain, evrything can just spam, and mbd ex got add dmg of 400% for last hit, i dont know why ppl still make a good choice of non ex, with ex option u can dps faster and out dps which u called constantIts not like u can freely use mbd for both option, even the casting needs good timing

Yes, bubbles aren't difficult to obtain and the difference between both isn't big UNLESS you are a heavy int stacker then non ex would favor you more(still depending on your playstyle overall) just because the consistent amount of int helps you push your other skills to another limit, unlike what an ex vers would do and just to top it off, you don't have to bother about managing your bubbles, basically you can just close eye to that and ignore and rotate your skills any whole how as long as the debuff is on. ultimately, it's your playstyle preference even as much as i say there are factors that contribute to some favor this and some favor that.

At best find a balance between the two. But never heard of anyone who priorised magical tree over the physical one. How did you manage it ?

i added both trees, but gear wise was favoring into int/vit/hp potential, while weap wise was into matk/int pots. the time i started playing was only when a friend of mine showed me a few videos of moonlord/magic sm(32/40cap) gameplay from cDN, got hooked on them and then decided to do a little research and understand that the way a moonlord builds is by prioritizing magic/int potentials on gear instead of att/str.
