호주이민 11년, 40대 중반, 호주에서 간호사일을 2년째 하고 있습니다. 다른 영어 채널 다 지워버렸고 오직 선상님 강의만 듣고, 배운것 다른 간호사들에게 써먹고있습니다. 예전 "너무나 일상 생활에서 자주 쓰는 표현이라 이것을 강의해야 한다고 생각 못하셨다고" 어떤 강의에서 하셨던 말씀이 기억납니다. 저는 그것을 원합니다. 나중에 시간이 되시면 come across 설명 부탁드립니다. 원어민 간호사들에게 의미 좀 설명해 달라고 하니 정말 제대로 가르쳐 주는 사람 없고 설명도 제 각각입니다. 읻을만 하면 원어민들에게 듣는 표현이라 번거롭습니다.제가 알고 있는 의미는 이해하다 경험하다 입니다만' 가끔 상황에 안맞습니다. 그럼 선상님 장수하세요^^

come across 는 자주 쓰이는 phrasal verb 인데 그 뜻이 몇가지 종류가 있어서 혼동 될수 있습니다. 미국에서 자주 쓰이는 두가지 예를 들면: 1. 가다/오다 우연히 만나다/찾다 -I came across our old college friend John at the store yesterday. He said he just moved here. -I was surfing the web and came across this winter jacket you wanted at 50% off sale. 2. 인상을 남기다 -I met her for the first time last Saturday. She came across to me as a very intelligent person. -Be careful about John. He may come across as a friendly guy but he has a bad temper.

궁금하면 Cambridge 사전에 phrasal verb 검색하시면 잘나와요 어떻게 쓰냐에따라 다르기도하구여 일단 예시로 잇는 문장만봐도 2번째 예시는 to가 필요하자나요? 한글로 영어 배울땐 뭐랄까 같은 단어가 왜두가지뜻을 가지는지 설명이진짜부족햇는데 영어로보면 어느정도 이해는가요

I have a small dream. Although I'm a mother of two sons and l go to work everyday so l don't have much time. but I want to run my own flower shop someday. I have a lot of things to do and I have to take care of my kids as well. Granted I go to take a class at early in the morning on weekends. Albeit sorry for my family. Anyway I want to come true my dream. 처음써보는 연습이에요. 아직 영어가.한참 부족하고 시작한지 얼마안되서 부끄럽지만 용기내봐요 ^^

Thank you for these useful expressions! I changed my career about a half year ago although I was old to start new career, I guess. However, I have really enjoyed my new job so far and learned a lot of new thing albeit with extra efforts. Granted, it is somewhat at the cost of my free time even after work, but I hope I get promoted this year!

A: Yeah, I agree with you. , you need your own place to be fully independent. *여기서 말하는 you/your는 "너" 를 말하는 것이 아니고 one's parents, one needs to have one's own place 라는 뜻인데 일상 대화에서는 one 대신 you 로 흔히 쓰입니다.

She's raising her two kids by herself, although she gets some help from her mom. 4. I went straight to the kitchen right after work. My husband rolled up his sleeves to help me. And then he started trimming some vegetable, although it didn't what I really wanted. I wish he could read my mind. I felt guilty thinking of my dad. His kids understand the circumstances and even try to show him how much they love him and they concern about both his well-being and his work so that he can manage to make it and nothing doesn't pull him down. Granted he is working here and there all over the country. he tries to get back home to see them and go grocery shopping together whenever things allow him to.

I worked in an English speaking environment for the past 5 years, and yet I came across this "albeit" for the first time last year. I was surprised how ignorant I was still, albeit not making an extra effort to learn outside of work. I might have heard of it before but just passed it without understanding. Granted, It was somewhat at the cost of my daysoff and rest, I think I should've studied more back then.

I'm planning to renovate my house by myself. Although I don't have any license related to construction fields, there's nothing wrong with any legal problem as long as I have ownership. I am a high school student. I learn diverse subject include english. Although i studied very hard to learn english, but it is still difficult to me.
