is there a 3D rendering engine on esp32? Just like LVGL but in 3D? I'm searching for a way to have a 3D cloud point map of a room scanned with a rotating LiDAR. Or maybe I should move to up in perf and go with a Jetson? or Raspberry? Thanks, and nice video ;)

github.com/vindar/tgx There are libraries that render simple 3d objects in ESP32 but it's hard to expect more than that. I tried something similar to your idea, but couldn't get the desired result. I think it should be made based on SBC, not MCU.

@@DDosAndDonts This is an early version, so the display quality is not the best. Take a look at the products released by other companies. Many of the products recently have round display products.

Unfortunately there is no project for this yet. Have you added rlottie as a component in your project? rlottie_capi.h is located in rlottie/rlottie/inc/rlottie_capi.h.

Im using LVGL9 and when im trying to use gifs, it doesnot work. Im using LVGL v9 convertor to convert a gif to .c file. and later using this .c file in my code to run animation. but i dont see anything on screen. Note: Normal images work fine but not gifs. Can you please make a small video using lvgl9 and gif ? It would be very helpful.

Playing GIFs will use a lot of memory. Maybe you're not seeing anything because of a memory allocation issue. Have you tried testing with a very small GIF?

Nice work! I working on this by following lvgl's doc too, but I found that I have to change lvgl's cmake list, or there will be linking error. And when it running, it bumps errors too. I'm using idf5.0.2 and lvgl8.3.7, can you give me some guide? Thanks!

I believe you can make your code with Arduino IDE but it's very limited for now because it doesn't have libraries for the Arduino Platform yet.

Hi, is it possible to use Lottie Player on esp32s3n8r2 lvgl8.2? I see lvgl's documentation has the relevant instructions, but he asked me to build it myself, I use idf's own cmake to compile, when I get to "make -j", the terminal prompts me that the "make" command does not exist, but my previous "cmake ... /rlottie" is executable. I don't know what the problem is, can you help me? Also, it seems that the code of your project is not uploaded to github, can I see your code?

As far as I remember, there is no need to build rLottie separately. I plan to make a new tutorial video for this project when the LVGL 9 version is released. You can also check my code then.

I could only supply USB power with the enclosed green PCB. To burn Firmware, TTL to serial burning tool was used. This is what was included in the other product. I officially inquired about this so I will update again when I hear from them.

Another file format made by the json crazies. Going through text is not too bad for human readability but sucks for machines. For embedded it just shows how much of a luxury we have now on memory and cpu performance. I'd probably have been fired if I suggested doing this back on the early PIC controllers. We did vectors to scale on thermal printers etc, but never via a textbased format.
