I‘m playing on a 9800x3d, RTX 4090, 64gb DDR5 RAM with 6000mhz. All that on WQHD at High Settings with a 240hz Monitor. No overclocking at all and easy 200fps no matter what, even on Streets. Mostly i‘m about 300fps. Since i played Tarkov on 40-60fps before, this feels like a whole new Game and absolutely fantastic. Greets from Germany

damn im upgrading in a month with the same cpu and a new gpu only getting 70to 80 fps on my low end system and 60 to 70 only on streets

im running a 9800x3d and a 6950xt and its like 120-180 and its so much more consistent. had a 5800x...t?? it was a shitty 70-80 frames with the same gpu.

I run a 7800X3D and a 7800XT both from AMD and my game runs smooth as silk. Even on streets. I get 120 fps on streets. I run no overclock and I have 32gig of ram at base clock 5600mhz. I have a 144hrtz, 1440p monitor. Good luck with your new chip Tony.

I play tarkov in 4k ryzen 9 7800x and a 4090 64 gigs of ram honestly runs fantastic

What texture quality are you running at and then what's your lod and lod distance. I am running 7800x3d and have a 4080 and have 64gb ram and like how the game looks with high texture quality and the same video settings that tony uses so I get 85-105+ fps on streets sacrificing some fps for some good graphical settings, rather have some little drops in frames or have it not be as smooth when scoped in but then I can atleast look around and be like oh hell yeah this game looks good now

@coofoo298 let me double-check my settings, and I'll get back to you. But I run 59fov cause the higher fov the more your frames stutter.. let me check, and I'll edit or re add a comment for you.

@coofoo298 texture quality is high, lod quality is 2.5, and overall visibility is 1000. Shadows are low. Clouds are low, and my FSR is setting to performance. If you're on a 4080, try running DLSS4. My son has a 4070, and it's improved his performance a lot. My HBAO is high-performance, SSR is medium, and anistropic filtering is on. My sharpness is 0.2, and I ha e my frames locked to my monitor refresh rate, with high quality colour on. No post FX. And that's it.

I got the 9800x3d did a -20 under volt with x10 pbo scaler. Basically tells the cpu to use the power more aggressively but you set a negative curve on the power so you get more performance effectively with no increase in power usage / heat. My game is night and fuckin day smooth coming from a 13700k. 64 gigs of ddr5 ram cl30 6000mhz with the 5080.

Just lookup tarkov 9800x3d benchmarks. It'll be better for sure, it'll still have some dips occasionally though. From the benchmarks you can see it shouldn't really drop below 80-90 fps though, even on streets. It's a very CPU heavy game, PVE more-so. So yeah, the x3d processors do a damn good job with performance in this game.

I’m running 7600x3D/4060 32gb ram 6000mhz been experiencing some issues on streets after the new DLSS4 update.. but now it seems to have smoothed out. I usually run like 100-165fps every map.. streets usually runs like 90-120.. but I’m running high everything 1080p with DLSS balanced, and Nvidia reflex on +boosted. I need to mess around with some of my settings and try to see if I can get better fps.. but shit runs smooth as butter. I just started playin Tarkhov about a month ago. This is my first wipe

i7-9700 used to run tarkov decently, by no means was it smooth. These days its unplayable. even with all the little creative work-arounds like the DPI scaling. XMP.

The new CPU will definitely help a lot but the game still runs like ass. There will still be hiccups and frame drops, definitely still some stutters too. But when everything runs good it's really good. I haven't noticed as many fps drops lately. Still there but less. I get average over 100fps on every map. 2070 Super 😅 and the 7800x3d with DDR5 ram. 32gbs. I need a new gpu man 😔
