Bu test Mersin Yenişehir'de ev ortamında GRUNDIG YB 400 radyonun dahili anteni ile özel bir noktada 05.09.2020 tarihinde yerel saat 02.52 sularında( UTC 23.52 ) yapıldı. 198 KHz yayın sinyalleri zayıf. Bir radyo kanalı var ama ne olduğunu ne yayını olduğunu anlamak zor. Sinyallerinin güçlü olacağı bir günü ve uygun test noktasını bulmak lazım.

This test was carried out at a special location in Mersin Yenişehir with the internal antenna of the GRUNDIG YB 400 radio at 02.52 local time (UTC 23.52) on 05.09.2020. 198 KHz broadcast signals are weak. There is a radio channel but it is difficult to understand what it is and what it is broadcasting. It is necessary to find a day where the signals will be strong and the appropriate test point.

Thank you for your interest. Here, broadcasts are received at frequencies 153, 171, 225 and 254 KHz around 02-04 local time. But since 198 KHz broadcast is very poor, I did not understand which radio's it belongs.

@@mehmetakin1957 I am putting my bets that 198 KHz could be BBC Radio 4 from Droitwich in the United Kingdom. That seems to be the only frequency on LW being used left around. Cheers 73!

@@ParamDxerThank you for your interest. It appears to be a 198 KHz BBC radio, but in the listening test I couldn't confirm it. But Turkey Mersin / Yenişehir do not know whether it can relax the radio. Radios of countries such as Algeria and Morocco from the African continent are listened here after midnight.

@@mehmetakin1957 Hi my friend, in Malta, BBC Radio 4 is audible, especially in the Winter months which even during the day if you catch it in the open space. It can be that BBC Radio 4 on 198 KHz, reached your location as the transmitter is around 500 kW of power. 73!
