We used to skate Miami every Saturday and taking the train back stoned listening to Pj Pat used to trip me out on the repetition of the flow and lyrics. It’s 2020 and I’m almost 30 but music like project pat, big L, trick daddy, 2 Live Crew are a foundation of my life and I wonder if there’s others who are in the same boat as me experiencing lofi, phonk, and other reinvigorating interests in these genres..
