LY-BBD (longer version), Super Petrel LS

A longer version of the film about the first flight of a flying boat LY - BBD, next to the European market the Super Petrel LS. The aircraft were manufactured by Edra Aeronautica of Brazil. Assembled by Aeroteka in Paluknys airfield (EYVP), Lithuania.

Right now they sell for $155,000.00 in the U.S., Florida. And then there is still sales tax. If you want the Rotax Fuel injected engine, the price goes up to $179,000.00. And the actual cost of that engine is only $3,000.00 more than the base Rotax carb engine. Figure that out. I can buy a nice used Lake seaplane for less than 1/3 of this thing. Nice plane with a crazy price.

SUCKS it costs so much for such a small thing... shouldnt cost more than 50,000.... The only people who can afford to buy this thing are doctors or lawyers....politicians... I WISH someone would sell decent little 2 seater amphibians at a reasonable price...150,000 or so is just crazy too much.... You can buy a nice house for THAT/

I think the design has to much of the body and aft wing in the water, the amphibs I have been in sit better on the water than in it.
