What she means by "meet [Cloud]" is to get to know the real him--not the Zack/ideal/1st mix that he ended up putting together. Upon finding him at the train station, Tifa mentions that he seemed "different". (But what do you expect? She didn't know he was at Nibelheim [contrary to Last Order; the original game and Crisis Core say it this way], and so hadn't seen him [knowing who he was] in 6-7 years. People change in that amount of time, but Tifa still wasn't quite sure of WHAT was going on.

Nerd-geek time: After Nibelheim's destruction, Hojo's experiments, and Zack's death, Cloud's mind shattered. It came back together and all, but he merged Zack's personality with his own and also how he thought a SOLDIER First Class should be. When Aerith meets him later, she likes him (because he reminds her of her first boyfriend [Zack].) On the Gold Saucer date with Aerith, she mentions that she'd like to meet Cloud and that he reminds her of her first boyfriend (which the gamers understand).

Anyways, Aerith liked Cloud because of the Zack in him, while Tifa loved him anyway because she knew him from childhood. (Zack and Aerith are kinda like Romeo and Juliet--Zack dies at the end of Crisis Core, and then Aerith dies at the end of the first disk of the original game). Fortuantely, when Tifa and Cloud both got thrown into the Lifestream in either the second or third disk, she helped him put himself and his memories back together correctly. Sadly, Aerith was already dead at this point.

acually i did have the complete version because when he was fighting sephiroth he got stabbed through the chest, had cuts all over him, and zack came. in the non completed version he gets stabbed through the shoulder, no cuts, and zack does not come. also in the complete version cloud's omnislah v5 is blue, in the other one it is gold. but, when i saw the completed version he didn't still have the cuts on him when he was floating. i don't understand, because when i saw it on the dvd he did

@1314kingdomhearts A friend of mine downloaded the whole movie (through a downloading program), so I got it from her. And well in the complete version, he does have a cut there. Maybe it wasn't the Complete version, that you've seen.

@1314kingdomhearts You know what......maybe you have different version of it. Sometimes different versions of movies can do that. Like for example I saw a video of FFVIIACC New Divide in the video Cloud's aura Red instead of Blue. So I figured....Maybe it's a different version of the movie. But then I figured that the person that made the video edited it to make it look like that. Maybe that's the same thing but in a different way.
