Thank you. I was able to defeat my first boss. For anyone reading, I messed up following at one step at didn't want to restart. Before round 100 I had about a 600-800k difference in money. I was able to still make it work by building some farms while I was placing super monkeys and slowly upgrading. I also put down the free dart monekys and upgraded one to super monkey fan club.

It does, but not as fast so you've got a longer period where the trap isn't doing anything

I was able to beat tier 4 and tier 5 with 2 monkeys. I used a 5,0,2 Heli-Pilot as well as the monkey ace paragon. I got it to level 26 and that was able to beat it.

Yes, but punji rarely does paragons in normal bosses to make it a easier guide for beginners

This was the first time I did a boss event, and I used this guide. I followed it to the tee - and it was an easy win. I would imagine you missed something somewhere - whether it was in farming - or some obscure tower placement. I had to pause my game and rewind the guide a few times to make sure my setup matched his because some things were a little quick - but all in all, it is a good guide - and should result in a win every time.
