Hey Steve! I live in Norway and by my cabin the plant that produces the lycopodium powder grows! I think it is very cool that you educate us teens and children how things work in science. I am a 13 year old boy and a few years ago I saw you on the Ellen Degeneres show with this powder. I did some research and found out what the plant looks like and Found it by my cabin. Now a few years later I love everything about medical herbs and plants and i harvest this powder every year. I am really thankful that you gave me this very unucual and fun hobby❤️

We did magnesium, alliminum foil, copper and zinc in the Bunsen burners at school today. Also steel wool from Bunsen to oxygen. Pure oxygen. Also did that with magnesium and was really bright even from not even looking at it

You should do a prince Rupert's drop in a vacuum chamber

Joshua Cole honestly, that would be cool but you would probably need a VERY powerful vacuum. IMO

Actually, Steve, I was more interested in the information at the beginning. You've never really gone in depth as to what lycopodium's practical uses were before.

after watching tons of Steve spangler vids, i already know this experiment. It's a nice touch if you will provide us some info about the science behind the materials or its practical uses, like you did in this video.

We use this for healing wounds, like when you cut your finger, it speeds up the healing process.. I have a weird admiration for the powder and the plant.. so weird. I also heard that its radioactive a bit.

Never heard of a paint can bomb? You punch a hole in the side of an of an empty paint can- around 2cm up from the bottom and push a couple straws (pushed into one another to make a longer straw) or pipe into the hole, angled at the bottom of the inside of the can. Then you dust the bottom of the can with fine flour- 00 grade works well- place a lot candle in center and put the lid on the tin. When you blow into the pipe or straw the fine particles of flour ignite with an excellent POP as the lid is blasted off. :-)

We would use it for pleasuring ourselves (males only sorry) because if you take a handful of it and then umm yeah.....it creates a nice smooth feeling.
@Coincidence_Theorist5 жыл бұрын
They teach this typically at scout camp. I think there’s actually a merit badge for it even. Nice to see things have gotten so progressive. Why should pleasure be off limits and taboo. People left to make mistakes and bad experimentation. We all remember using a sports drink bottle as a toy only to create a large hematoma (although in my case it resulted in a sudden rather impressive increase in size and length. This was in late teens. I don’t know that you’ll have same results.).

When are you gonna do new experiments? I loved your videos back in the day, but it seems that the same experiments keep coming up in different video formats; I.e. Like this one, on Ellen, on the news programme, etc... Really wanna see something new and exciting 😊😊
