I fully believe Lydia came onto this show because she was trauma bonded to Narcissistic Uche and she just happened to find love with Milton. The producers are babying her and giving her a good edit because Milton & Lydia were the only couple to get married. That wasn’t fair to Aaliyah. She deserved an apology.

The reunion should be mandatory for everyone! The show should require everyone sign an NDA and the NDA doesn't expire until 90 days after the reunion airs. That way, either you speak your peace at the reunion or you have to wait until after the reunion airs to do so.

I believe even the pod crew should be at the reunion too. They should be audience style, so when the host asks questions for clarity, as in when those who are on the main stage say, “I was getting messages from other people on the show about blah blah,” that’s when they should get their chance to chime in. It would also make the reunions more interesting since we don’t get to see everyone’s journey, seeing natural reactions from everyone who participated in the experiment would make for good tv!

Lydia was the producer favorite. Even during the reunion the hosts spoon fed her questions where she answered in a way that way her viewed as the victim. JUSTICE FOR AALIYAH because they didn’t even set her up to get answers. They let LYDIA answer first and she’s sitting there crying about how she loves her, GIRL BYE . The whole instagram thing makes sense if his friends have less than 200 people viewing OR if they mainly follow people they know, she’d probably stick out like a sore thumb. Lydia and uche claim they were reached out to in similar fashion to last cast members and the girls from season 2 said there were people in the pods they knew but never dated so clearly love is blind has to do better. Uche not showing up isn’t surprising but it issss annoying because the mess he pulled on Aaliyah needed to be answered. Stacy is a mean girllll and Izzy still needs to grow up. Him and Johnie (as well as Stacy) are nowhere near ready for marriage lol

Milton excuses Lydia's behavior and enables her. Milton got oh so upset at Uche (who he mentioned was not his friend or peer) for trying to insert himself in their relationship, but somehow, he overlooks that Lydia did the same thing to someone she actually called a friend. Lydia's actions ultimately aided (it was not all her fault, the producers should have told her to NOT speak on it OR told Lydia and Uche to go home once it was found that they dated already) in causing Aaliyah to leave the experiment early and setting off a chain reaction of events. She can't even get her story straight about Uche, and how they both miraculously got on the show, but somehow her character shouldn't be questioned. Secondly, regardless IF she meant to hurt Aaliyah or not, Lydia took NO accountability. She played the victim and just watched and sat mute as everyone invalidated Aaliyah by saying "oh well not everyone can find love, sorry". As a woman with integrity, regardless of my status with a former friend, I'm taking accountability for what I said/did and apologizing if my actions caused anyone harm. But she sat back and cried when Aaliyah really should have been the one crying because of what she had to go through. She "cares for" Aaliyah so much but once she ended up in a marriage, she could give a sht about what happened to Aaliyah when it was all said and done. She got what she came for and that was it. And it was sad because Aaliyah thought she had a friend in her. Lydia and Milton's marriage IS a weird dynamic TO ME because she was rejected by Uche AND izzy, therefore, her final option was Milton. And if that were me, I'd be nobody's THIRD choice.

I was disappointed with Aaliyah. It took her too long to realize that he was not a good guy. She pursued a man who was at minimum mean, manipulative, and likely emotionally abusive and who showed that in the pods not just at the Bbq. I felt so embarrassed for her in that clip where she met him at the restaurant and she told him that she loved him and wanted a relationship. Why did she continue to pursue him?

It felt like they all gaslit her into agreeing that her pain was worth it so that Lydia and Milton could get married, and that her experience was just a casualty of tHe ExPeRiMeNt. There was no real acknowledgement of how this would have made Aaliyah feel, except slightly by Stacy. Black people's feelings don't matter bc they are strong as oxes and don't require validation 🙄 I don't think Stacy's feelings were validated when they didn't really hold Johnnie to account for anything she said. Stacy isn't my cup of tea, but her and Aaliyah were the only real ones there. I got weiiiird vibes of everyone acting for the cameras, the same way Shake from season 2 called out the cast for being fake. I think they are all trying to monetize and keep up a facade, and anyone who tries to break that by speaking the truth or calling out any of the chosen ones, is shunned or ignored. So as a neurodivergent person myself, I early on suspected that Uche could possibly also be neurodivergent, but the more his behavior played out/the more manipulation he exhibited it became clearer that there's probably something closer to personality disorder. Like the fact that when Miriam broke up with him in the pods and he had a hand in sabotaging her other relationship (like what he tried to do with Milton/Lydia) gives me more of a narcissist, not someone with for instance, autism who simply misreads social cues but ultimately has empathy.

Pretty sure you can't file for bankruptcy until you have $10k+ in debt. I did file bankruptcy years ago after leaving a DV situation but I grew my credit back up pretty quickly after that. There's definitely something more going on with Izzy. & I stand by my unpopular opinion about Taylor. She hounded & harangued JP constantly about not talking enough & being awkward, which only made it harder for him to come out of his shell. His comment about the makeup, in his Neanderthal mind, was a way to give an answer with a simple solution that he thought was like a compliment to her. I truly don't think he meant for it to come out how it sounded. He knew she was way outta his league, he was awkward in front of the cameras, & he's a socially awkward person. That, plus the way Taylor constantly nagged at him about making conversation... I just could understand his perspective. People ripped him to shreds over it, but I see it differently I guess.

Black guy here. Regarding Uche being unfairly judged when compared to white guys with similar temperament... Hmm... I know there is truth to this in day to day life concerning many black men vs white men (women as well) but I do not believe it's applicable in this case with Uche. Why? Because Uche is an a$$hole. I didn't care for him at first but when he and Aaliyah began to really hit it off, I thought better of him. I even started to cheer those two on. But the moment Uche said, "So you're a recent cheater..." DONE!!! Screw that guy. And remember, this is before we even knew about the whole Lydia thing. I don't care if he has some sort of "condition." I don't care if he's black. The guy is a tool! Aaliyah deserves WAY better. My $0.02.

I'm not in their age group but this sampling of ppl don't give me any hope. 😂 Also, why shade the lady with the skin care line but, not ask Izzy any specifics on his finances/lack of career path? This seasons was the worst one yet and the producers worked hard during the reunion to make is seem like the show in any way wasn't a disaster. I am so glad that Aaliyah and Taylor have moved on. I am interested in whether Milton will someday clean up after himself. One thing about Stacy that I do like is how she kept boundaries with the other women in the pods, because with this season and last season it seems best to be friendly but not close to anyone.

I agree. Milton and Lydia decided to get married and have been married for a year and a half. That should be a beautiful thing that they graciously allow us to be a part of. Instead, what we are left with is Aaliyah being dragged into a situation that was avoidable, Milton being dragged into the no-win of defending his wife/invalidating Aaliyah or not standing by his wife/validating Aaliyah, and a dude who will be forgettable except for the negative impact he had on others.

I don’t think uche was scared of her revealing anything. If he was he wouldn’t have pressed so hard during the show. I think she tried to downplay how she figured out and wanted to also implicate him since he wasn’t there to defend himself. If they had sex 3 months ago, it's very easy to assume they both could have discussed applying or getting confirmation emails from the show. Casting isn't a short process and lots of people apply. Unless she knows someone on the team, getting on the show with him for sure is massively far fetched. Even if she searched through every box in his house to find out he was cheating, his crime of constantly lying, avoiding, and badgering people verbally is still much worse. Same in the Bahamas. No credit score They confirm waht u make what u pay and then determine if you can afford the loan. Also there is no thing where every department store and retail outlet is issuing u a credit card. So no need to check. You save for what I want or put it on layaway.
