I have terminal cancer. I found out in August. I had kidney cancer in 2012 they removed the kidney. Then I found out that in 2018 my cancer had come back in my 5 year CT scan but they didn’t see it so it metastasized in to 10 spots in my lungs. As I was driving home this song came on and just brought so much peace to my heart. When ever I’m feeling overwhelmed with it all I just listen to this song. I’ll be ok even if I go home to be with Jesus ❤

Sorry for you loss Ray. I lost my Husband this past August to a brain aneurism, the waves of emotions can be overwhelming so I remind myself that each wave is a single battle, not to look to far ahead, just take it one battle at a time.

This is beautiful and it's now my new fighting illness song. "God only gives us what he knows we can handle" sometimes I feel like...after 30+ yrs of "handling" does he know I'm ready to crumble? I first heard this song on the radio a few months ago. I have listened to it dozens of times since and the video is beautifully done and so relatable. I suffer from anxiety and even panic attacks from time to time-dealt with a lot of loss in the last few years. Thank you Lydia for this beautiful song! I just heard this song for the first time thank you I needed to hear that going through a terrible divorce with someone that was my best friend someone that I have loved for 35 years someone that I can know every thought he had know how his heartbeat but unfortunately he has an addiction and severe insecurities and I tried my hardest to help but I can’t change him it is not for me to change him and I have to accept that.. I ended up moving out it has been very difficult I am 52 years old and don’t know how I am going to make it Especially in the future..maybe it’s crazy that I still have 1 inch of hope left in my heart that God will intervene and open his eyes and touch his heart but maybe I have to accept that this is the end of a 35 year relationship and love maybe I have to see that God has better plans for me.. I am having a difficult time giving it all to God this song makes me feel a lot better though thank you God bless you always❤️🙏
