Lydia, I shared a clip of the first episode of the wedding series with my boo the same day it was live. Since then, he's checked in with me every week to know if you've uploaded so we can both watch together! We're in the early stages of planning our 2023 wedding; suffice it to say this series has been very helpful to us. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful time in your and Damini's life. May God bless your marriage. My boo is currently bussing some *loud* Zs 😅; so, we'll watch when he's awake a bit later. Love from 🇯🇲

I rarely comment but had to say how appreciative I am of you. I got married at 41 (44 now) and it is so good when you both are intentional about making and keeping your connection. One piece of advice I would give based on my parents 38 years of marriage as my mom passed away 2 years ago...no one has to know when you both are upset with each other. Keep your arguments or disagreements to yourselves as much as you possibly can. My family never knew when my parents had a disagreement and it's a true testament to the respect you will have for each other. It makes for an easier makeup session afterwards. ☺️ Sorry for this being so long, but I am happy for you both. Congratulations and God's greatest blessings on you both as you continously prosper in life!! 🙏

Mrs. O your make-up is so stunning! It just enhances your pretty, brown skin. I love how involved Damini was in the planning and how you sat calmly back and listened to him talk. Such love & respect for his thoughts. The two of you have truly been joined together by the Lord. As Damini kept proclaiming, “Praise God”! ❤️

Beautiful series and people. I got married last month and my husband and I decided to have a small civil wedding of 20 people. We rented out a private room in a restaurant. Literally the best day of my life. I had a few people upset that they weren’t invited but at the end of the day like your hubby said, getting married was our main priority. I wouldn’t change what we decided to do! Married life is sweet oh and people definitely take us more seriously and you can feel and see the respect.

I love what your friend said about getting married: “when you agreeing to marry somebody you’re agreeing to spend the rest of your life with that person who’s had a whole life before meeting each other. So it’s important have counseling to get you both on the same page (shape the path)” 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤❤ this is hands down my favorite part of the video 🥲 Oh how I miss watching this, finally I get to catch up with you Lydia. I’ve really missed watching you 🫶🏽

Black love series needs to go across the pond! I would love to see you two on the show. What I love the most about the two of you is your adoration for GOD. Having him in the center of your marriage is sooo important. My husband and I pray together every morning and we aren’t ashamed to be a witness and speak of the goodness of GOD. He will be the backbone and glue that’ll keep us grounded and married for life.

Whew...triggered!! Because I feel 1000% the same way! You wished it was longer than 24hrs, you wish you didnt know every detail, there will be disappointment, you wish you saw the work of certain vendors prior, you have to have non-negotiables, parents and friends will be disappointed with invites etc. Nonetheless it will be and yours was a beautiful day! My main tip is just to enjoy the day and leave all the cares behind. Stay together as a couple all day so you're experiencing everything together.
