As a lifelong Jazz fanatic from India, I am so proud of you and your Dad and sister for doing so much for promoting this great African American art form amongst Indians. Jazz fits naturally with the world of Carnatic and Hindustani music, both of which value imagination as an essential component of expressing one’s artistry, along the same lines as Jazz. They are such a natural fit, and it is about time that Indian musicians played Jazz, not so much in an “Indianized” form, a la fusion Jazz, but the way you have played most of your numbers on this album. As Jazz should be composed and played. So kudos to you.

Incredible work, Lydian. I am literally gobsmacked by the line up. From Dave Weckl to Frank Gambale to Rajesh Vaidya ....And a great title, 'Chromatic Grammatic'. Every little kid would want to learn the chromatic scale and here's you, all of sixteen, coming out with an album with a composition in each key. Just amazing. Actually, I was designing a poster for my activity, and I had been very severe to name the poster, now got a name - Beam Your Holidays Up! 😁 It’s an agenda for a holiday camp, so in order to convey to people to enjoy their holidays with more happiness, I picked that name! 😊 You spread your knowledge to everyone who knows you, it’s really amazing how that is possible at this age. A child gets its first support not from others, but from parents, of course. Here, I would like to thank you, Uncle and Aunty, for your assistance to your children. 🙏🙏❤❤❤❤ Being such a considerable support and inspiration, you have not only inspired your children but everyone who sees you (Eg: me)! Being a part of your brother’s life, Paapa, you really taught all the sisters how to treat their brothers with an immense amount of love, care and support. ❤❤❤ Everyone in this world is born to accomplish what they wish. If you can do the thing which I can’t do, it’s not actually anyone’s fault, in my opinion. All up to our minds and perspectives. Just a few days ago, in my school, I read a short story in my Moral Science Book - Positive and Negative Emotions was the heading. What it finally conveys is, if we look at the challenges with optimism and confidence, we can win those challenges while with pessimism and skepticism, we can’t win them. Sitting in my dining chair where I study, thinking of making such a long album with 12 songs, sends me into a full-blown dizzy mode!
