We had to learn about osmosis and plant stem support at GCSE. I believe it’s something to do with the plant cells becoming *turgid?* and hence the flower stands up erect to obtain a greater level of sunlight. Just a quick tip, if you use tea tree oil for your piercing the lump will go down within a few days. I also feel exactly the same way for biology i cant tell if it went well or not 😭
