I'm 13 years old, but one day I stumbled upon this song, I paused for a second and listened to the lyrics, word for word, and as I unknowingly related the lyrics to my own life, chills ran down my back, and tears started to bead up in the corners of my eyes. As I listened to the song, I thought of my great-grandmother, who had passed away, my father, who left me at 6 months old, and my mother who was always in my life, no matter what. I listened to the instruments in the background, which instantly made the chills slither up and down my back, again. Then I just closed my eyes and drifted off into a blank space in my mind. It takes me back to the beginning when I was 17 and would stay on the phone with him laughing to all his corny jokes, but I laughed because I was falling in love with his soul. No matter how much I try, I cry every time I listen to this song. We've been together for 10 years, we've grown up together... after 8 years of marriage, graduating college, two kids, career opportunities, moving countless times, trials/tribulations, and a lot of work later...I love this man so much. I was in a bad place when we met but when we met he helped me change my outlook on life. Its funny how the love and encouragement of someone else could make you feel like you can move mountains.
