There is much talk for the last some years about "embodied mindedness". Two EM researchers Humberto Maturano and Francisco Varela (from Chile, I think) coined the term, I also think???, but it is amazingly clear that embodied mindedness has been with us since maybe even the coelacanths and that we are just catching up with nature and our own natures. Clark's turn to therapy seems quite unforced, relative to "disembodied minded" psychiatric or other types pf therapists, often. There is, if anyone cares, a book by the psychoanalyst Marion Milner called, "On not knowing how to paint". Quite a while since I read it but she had some cute insights.

One other thing:if anyone can say, how much of this artwork was taken up as a reaction to military dictatorship em Brasil?
