I hope that you let them roll off of your back because they are only intended to hurt/humiliate you, and if you allow the ick to seep into your mind, they will win. Instead, ignore the hate from desperate, and only listen to those that are not trying to rip you down! Thank you for sharing this with us! it is July 2020 as I type this. Coevid is running rampant and the legacy of hate around the world is being brought to the surface -- thank you for your response to this video, and to all who are being so negative -- We are victims of evictions due to my son's workplace having to close, he applied for unemployment, but the system kept crashing and that was March and he hasn't recv'd anything, and we are evicted as of July 15th. I am old and disabled, and am in the highest-risk category due to my age and I was in a fire in 2005 which destroyed and damaged my lungs --we have no other living family members and no money for deposits and even half rent -- but I KNOW God. And I've been asking everyone, friends and strangers, for help. Not financial help, but for prayers that my knowing in God stays strong, That God already has this worked out, I just need to do my part and keep packing and sorting -- There are 2,000 -- two thousand -- evictions being heard in my city's court system -- where are these people going to go, and the eviction will follow them the rest of their lives -- sorry to go on, it helps a little to talk to someone else who knows in God -- I hope you are well and your family. Very kindest regards, in Christ -- Patricia

My thoughts exactly! It's okay to try to get the truth out of the kid. And with one so young you expect the lie. But she should have done what my Mom did. She would tell us that the punishment for a lie was worse than the punishment for doing something wrong, and remind us that Mom's have a way of finding out the truth. That is when she would ask again and give us the chance to fess up. Whatever the punishment was, she would tell us something worse that would have happened if we had lied. For example: "Thanks for telling the truth. It's a good thing you did or you wouldn't have gotten any more at all. But for taking one without permission you have to wait until after supper tomorrow before you can have another." When he got one the next day it would reinforce the lesson about not lying.

It might be cute at first but make sure you teach them a lesson or they'll be stealing your money and thinking it is cute.

Children know deep inside when they do wrong. As parents we must praise the things they do wrong and not reward bad behaviors in order for the children to grow up morally good citizens. There is a generation that was not praised nor disciplined correctly. And now they are young adults, running our country, and are pretty messed up, and think they can do or say whatever they want without complications or repercussions.
