Monkeys instinctively hate the sea. I've never seen one yet that actually liked it. PuPu hated it, Puka hated it, BiBi hated it and now LyLy hated it. I just hope this wasn't adding trauma instead of relieving it. I do know that Kim wants to help LyLy get over her fear from her being lost. I still don't know how that happened but it definitely traumatized her.

I loved watching Lyly & her Mum at the beach! Her Mother really loves Lyly as most of us here do. It was lovely to see them together having a great time. And Lyly really did love the park equipment. I' m pleased they had a good time. The beach looked beautiful.

The entire video was great!! Lyly shows more confidence by noticing the people, jumping on the playground equipment. And she did enjoy the sea air and sunshine. Several times she walked on her own away from Kim. She also rode behind Mom on the bike this time. Little by little she will come around.

Macaques are amazing swimmers. LyLy was fine after Mom Kim held her in the water until she started to swim. Much like a child first few times at the beach. Not sure and scared until they are taken out into the water by parents. Same with LyLy. She did well in the water.
