Excellent narrative.....I was at Uni in Manchester 1974 to 1977 and a walk in Lyme Park with my girlfriend was one of my favourite pursuits. My diary tells me we climbed up tp Bowstones in the snow on Sunday January 16th 1977...( there was a blizzard on the 13th ).....happy memories.....must get back there again some day.
