I dont know why teachers don't teach like this in class. They rarely have such communication skills, all they do is come to class, read slides, and go home.
@kristak442128 күн бұрын
Probably b/c creating this takes a ton of time. If this was prepared for the teachers as part of their lessons they would teach this way. Unfortunately teachers are left to their own tools to teach and limited time spent on important topics. Their hands are tied.

Viewers might have the question “what medical specialist deals with diseases of the lymph system?” Generally the answer is a hematologist (i.e. blood doctor). Thats because essentially arteries, veins, and lymph ducts are all part of one integrated vascular system. Many hematologists further specialize into oncology (cancer docs that focus on treatments that use medications, including immunotherapy, as opposed to radiation or surgery). When I started my lymphoma journey more than a decade ago, it took a long time to get this clear!

My lymphatic system failed me . Three years ago, I was diagnosed with the rare THL DLBCL stage 4 with Cachexia, lymphedema and Ascites ravaging my poor 65 yo body. I went from a healthy 170 lbs down to 105 lbs in 2 weeks! I was a walking corpse. I wanted to die! I was ready. I didn’t want to live anymore. But the doctors and nurses at the VA in Seattle didn’t want to give up on me. I was initially hospitalized for 50 days doing whatever they can to keep me alive. In and out of the hospital within the last three years , I was given chemotherapy, immunotherapy and CAR-T treatments . I cry whenever I recall that period in my life. I was in so much agonizing pain. It was unimaginable. But , here I am , three years later, still breathing and very much alive! What happened? Why did I survive ? A friend said it’s as if the Cancer was “undone!” A curious choice of word …. “Undone!”
@SiebertScience Жыл бұрын
Wow, what a story! I'm glad you survived and that you were able to get some good medical care! As far as why you survived, that's beyond my knowledge level.

Awesome! Sorry I'm a couple weeks late in replying to this. I hope your studies have continued to go well! I've mentioned that I use a wheelchair in some videos, and the chair is more visible in others. Where I film videos now in my house is a pretty small room, so you can only see my upper body. I talk about it a bit more in-depth in my 10k and 100k subscribers videos.
