Dr Mason, thank you for your exceptionally clear, comprehensive and targeted presentation. Of the countless KZbin videos I have watched on the subject of lymphoma, none come close to yours. What a great introductory overview 👏😊

I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma when I was 15 in 2010. having a very hard time keeping up with aftercare due to the difficulty getting insurance. poor people are more likely to get cancer and are not being diagnosed and not able discover relapse and are dying. Help this change. We need support. It's hard to work it's hard to keep manually stable. I am losing hope. I'm in America by the way.....

I am really worried. The lymph node on my neck has been swelling for at least 4 months now, and I also had mononucleosis two years ago. Ever since then my health hasn’t been as good and I get tired a lot easily. My doctor did an ultrasound and a blood test. And according to him it is not lymphoma or hypothyroidism. The blood test shows that my blood platelet count is pretty normal. And the ultrasound shows that my biggest lymph node in the area is only 6mm. But I would like to point out that I am less than 5 ft, so I think that 6mm is relatively big for my body size. I was wondering if I should insist on taking a biopsy even if my doctor said that the result from the blood test and ultrasound indicates that I don’t have lymphoma.

I was wondering if a person who keeps having blood tests have the result where white blood cells are always high but then has blood tests later which show to be normal for months then after that have got to start again in the white cells are back up with this being leukaemia lymphoma could you just be something else because cancer and lymphoma doesn't come and go like that does it

@Servant to Be , very interesting comment. Not diagnosed but do have many cysts in back of neck and groin, night sweats, lalling red and white blood platelets , unknown reason for frozen sides of face and pain in the lip, Lyme disease, and much more. Interesting that I didn't develop the cysts until I went on the Bernstein diet, which included a lit of flax oil to keep an old breast cancer at bay. Some people have said cysts can be caused my Lyme Spirochete and that these love oil. My bones are always breaking in spine and ribs too which causes never ending pain on back muscles. I think I had a stroke a few weeks after my face froze in July but can an MRI until January 2020. I totally fear going to hospitals because they all keep their temperature at a blazing 80 degree F, and I can't tolerate night temperatures more than 50 to 60. Hospitals won't turn temperatute lower so I have to keep sleeping in hospitals with ice bags. Also have many fevers maybe twice a day, each lasting only about 20 minutes. Have thyroid nodules on top of pituitary adenoma and also have kidney cyst, groin cysts, cyst in liver, and so on. But I'm terrified of biopsies because the hurt so badly and for so long, and have already been exposed to massive amounts of radiation so don't want more or deadly chemo either. Doctors just usually state patients have unknown immune disease. All bones in my body are badly deformed as well, and I know I very badly threw out my disks in back in Feb as well because ut made a few relly loud crunches followed by a massive on extra loud. Not easy to heal from compressed spinal bones plus so many broken ribs because doctors can't fix those things anyway, and without the stabiliy they will continue to break for almost no reason at all. Pretty bad disease but doctors in Canada are 30 years behind the times for the most part so would be afraid they would just spead it with a biopsy anyway. They did take an underarm sample in large cyst under arm but couldn't tell anything about it but by this time I figured I didn't want to be cut up repeatedly in a lot of mini pieces each time they wanted to look for cancer which could be dozens of times. Do have very severe atomach pain and diarrhea too, and trouble breathing because of the compressed thoracic bone for no reason but I guess it's it's all just par for the course. Suffer from extreme fatique too. A synovial spinal cyst exploded and seemed to spread everywhere, most painful thing in life for 90 days. It might explode again due to same large growth all over again and I live in fear of that every day. Thinking processes and eye deterioration also suffered since face froze in July and started hurting but I doubt anyone would be able to diagnose this anyway without hundreds of very painful tests and tons more radiation exposure. So many of these tests are as painful and probably as harmful or disease promoting as doing nothing anyway. Trying to get rid of wretched sore throat behind one removed tonsil at the moment Had too many botched surgeries in the past so am more fearful of doctors than the disease.
