I have never been a huge believer in "God" or "Jesus" and have had so many unanswered questions. However one day I was feeling very blue and what felt like was the lowest point in my life then I came across this song. I lost my mother in 2011 and left my marriage of 19 years in 2012. Since then i went through alot of issues, in 2015 my son almost lost his left eye and going for operation to attach the retina. The doctors made a mistake by operating the right eye which was okay and removed his natural len of the right eye and that is when they realised it was the left eye they needed to operate. I struggled to raise the money for his operation. And in 2019 someone stole all my broiler chickens including my friends's chickens in th pretex of buying and to pay in a week's time. Putting me completely out of business and upto today that woman has never been founded. I thank my God for giving me the strength during all these times. It hasn't been easy but with his Mercy i has survived all that without developing high blood pressure. Without God i would have been dead by now.

My mother just died a few days ago after I've been caring for her last 5 years ended her days 2 months in hospital after a fall but I got her home and she died at home in her bed with her pillow but I am struggling with the profound loss I cannot accept my ever present love and rock has vanished the pain is so great I can barely stand it. I'm reaching out to God through this song My mum was 98yo and relatively healthy she just stopped eating sufficiently became weak and catastrophic fall ensued. 😢 hope rapture happens in my lifetime 🙏

I woke up today with this song in my head. Each day is like dragging from morning until night. Especially with things I am struggling with these days. I could never share prayers or gospel or word with my husband. I did with my son. Brought him up in the word of Jesus. Took him to church regularly and he took part in all church activities. Prayed with him all the time. Read Bible verses with him and taught him to keep God first in all. In fact, years ago when I met Lynda at a Gospel concert in Indiana, I told her that I dedicated all my life to serve Lord and brought up my son in His word and asked her to pray for my son to be successful in education. We prayed together. I will always be grateful for Lynda's prayers. My son is very successful academically today. The minute he passed the boards he changed and says that Bible and Christianity did not get him anywhere. He wants to argue about Jesus's miracles scientifically. Is dating a non christian, unbeliever and wants to cut off from Christianity and church. But I still believe that Jesus will turn him around and bring him back to His path. I read and declare Psalm 91 upon my son and wait upon Lord Jesus to bring him back to faith. This song helps me to wait patiently upon the Lord to bless my son with salvation!

i remember while i was in college my professor before the start of final exam, he marked my paper failed.. so i lost my scholarship, and was not able to graduate on time and i did not attend graduation ceremonies, but after graduating later i took the board exams with excellent grade and became topnotcher, after which i became a member of faculty of Department of Mining Engineering and later became Department Head, as a faculty i had to attend graduation ceremonies and as a Department Head, i had to seat on the stage alongside the Dean, President and other department heads of College of engineering and Architecture..God has a better plan ahead of us, its good i put my trust in Jesus, and then later on my supposedly batchmates lost their jobs as the mining companies closed down because of exhaustion of ore reserves to mine.. as for me i taught in different departments when my department stop accepting enrollees in mining engineering.. thank you God..

Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee. Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh. O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Oh how I needed to hear this song this morning. Since Momma passed away on February 5th, 2016, now more than ever, this song is so precious to me and more than relevant for what I'm going through. I will never attempt to minimize another's grief or loss, however, when you lose the last member of your immediate family, grief is taken to a different level. I will never lose my faith in God, for I know who's holding me up and giving me strength when all I want to do is give up...God isn't finished with me yet. For anyone who may read this, let go of the pettiness of whatever is keeping you distant from your loved ones; and most importantly, whatever is keeping you from God and your salvation.

I hope you are feeling good. I am so sorry about the loss of your momma. i know that must be hard , but you just keep on with that faith. its such a testimony to see someone say this in a time of grief when people usually turn from God instead of into Him.
