Great chat boys. The sparring stories reminds me of when i first joined my gym. The trainer loved me and took me under his wing and always pressured me into fighting competitively. But i couldn't believe it when he said he was gonna put me in with Amir Khan, who was only 16 at the time. But the following week...Amir turned up at the gym. I was a bag of nerves but he didn't beat me up thankfully, but he ran rings round me and i couldn't land clean on him. The experience was priceless though. I was punished that night as i was made to stay in the ring whilst having one fighter after another of all different styles and sizes thrown at me. I could've killed my coach! 🤣
