Lyndon Top Caravan & Camping, Rutland, Koi Carp, A7300 Meet

Hot one. Must remember to unplug the electric. Going to Rutland Water, Lyndon Top, meeting the A7300's. Nice little local meet, 4 motorhomes turned up. Now have to check in with Susan. Ruth and Ken are the first to arrive. Nanny's Hamper catering van turned up. Had a lazy afternoon. We bought a new Cadac pizza stone; cooked a lovely pizza. Ian had a little bit too much to drink. Homemade rhubarb gin, cider, Sol and port. He normally doesn't mix his drinks, stupid. We've been awake since quarter past 5. Ian cooks breakfast. Non electric site, good test for the solar. Just has water and elsan. The door keeps banging, getting on Jackie's nerves. All cooking breakfast at the same time. Ian has acquired Yogi, the dog for the weekend. £15 a night with amazing views. Fish and chips on the campsite tonight. Sun is shining, had to put the canopy up. Not much shade. When Ian's up, he thinks everybody should be up. Scooter ride to empty the toilet. There's area 3 and 7 and a rally field. Big pink thing in his pool. Martin has a problem... Bit of kite flying. Cook up on the BBQ's, nice burgers and kebabs with fried onions. Keep your BBQ on a slight lean, to allow the oil to cook your onions. Exhausting day, 30 degrees, no wind, high humidity. Spent most of the day in the shade. Great weekend. Hot chocolate and a ripple. Disaster strikes on Monday morning, watch and see. Lots of water lice.
We will be filming our motorhome adventures. We are a little bit different to most KZbinrs, we go to sites, a bit of wild camping, but we also go drag racing, we do quite a lot of American hotrod shows, a few steam rallies and a bit of Carp Fishing.

I've driven off a couple of times from home with the electrics lead still plugged in! Luckily how I fitted the socket/plug position, no damage other than cable plugged out of plug. Had to phone home once after a few hours when I remembered what I did .... "Please unplug the lead from the outside socket" (would have had live bare wires lying on the driveway!! )

They should have an alarm when we turn on the ignition. I know a lot of motorhomes do have this
