Lynn Anderson recorded. 1971. Lynn won a Grammy as best female vocal country for Rose Garden. Over the decades many singers have recorded this song. Yet Lynn Anderson is considered the Queen of this song.

You're right. I guess because this song was such a monster hit and appealed to listeners of all genres, it often overshadows all of her other hits. Saw an interview from 1972 (one year after this song) that's posted on YT and, even then, she said to hope for another 'Rose Garden" would be unrealistic ... the odds just aren't there. Guess it's what you call a "once in a career song" IF you're lucky and all the stars align. There are hits ... then there are "Rose Garden" type hits.
