So to whoever is attempting to DoS attack Lenny...
...it doesn't seem to be working...
One of our volunteers decided to deal with the DoS attack in their own way and send a call to Lenny that would break Jerri, J-E-R-R-I's record ( / lenny_marissa_and_rach... ) by over ***17 minutes***. Lynn finally decided to end the call around the 49:19 mark but took all the way to 52:36 to actually release the call. Will Lynn's record ever be broken? I say no way. But...I've said that before...
I like how the more frustrated Lynn gets, the faster she talks. Which is totally helpful when dealing with someone who's hard of hearing. Also amusing: she called Lenny by several different names. (I censored them all as I'm not sure which one was our volunteer's name.)

This person hears the same stuff over and over and over again and just can't seem to put two and two together.

Me too, And these companies trying to sell expensive packages, knowing their potential client may have dementia, is terrible, this one, for example, my husband has suffered bad strokes and as a result does have a form of dementia, and now only watches the news or dads army, sadly he can not understand much. So anyone suffering from cancer, dementia, strokes, heart attacks or depression, or any other condition, need to be protected from these people, trying to make money at the expense of unwell people, and these companies should be banned from exploiting the elderly or even younger ones who are suffering from any form of illness or disability.

at 24:28 when he asks her to repeat the whole jazz she just said you can her the headset mute. and i know i work for inbound phone calls for legitimate customer service. and i can sense what she was saying on mute😤😡🤬 Lenny called my customer service and i caught on in about 10 minutes realizing the same exact phrases were being repeated in the exact same way. but i needed another 4 minutes to go to break😂 so i went on while i was chatting to my work chat team and lead letting him know i was talking to a bot

There is nothing I wouldn't give to be able to interview this Lynn person -- to talk to her about her life, her history, her views on things. All in the name of figuring out how in the world this went on so long. I mean she seems to recognize halfway through that something is amiss ("Do you live in a nursing home?"), and she was engaged & listening to Lenny pretty well the entire time, but nonetheless this goes on for 50 minutes. Absolutely amazing

This is exactly why sales people need to go back to a commission model. Hourly people like this get to waste an 8th of their shift on a single call. She knows darned well what this is, but can get away with it when the supervisors snoop in for 30 seconds at a time, and doesn't need to do her actual job. And, at the end, ooops, that one got away.

While these are entertaining, there's the other side too. Our daughters friend was raising 2 small children alone after her husband left her. And she was able to earn extra money making sales calls just like this. She said it was hard work but she was able to work from home. I would be very upset if someone purposefully wasted an hour of her time like this, and I am sure many would agree.
