What is so astounding to me, apart from the playing and musicianship of course, is the juxtaposition between Lynne the person, and Lynne the musician. As a person, she is gentle, mild, unassuming; wearing her heart on her sleeve...then she plays and it is as if the guitar is in the hands of a 7 foot tall Norse Viking Lumberjack; there is such power and command that the guitar must submit to her so that it is her direct internal voice rather than an instrument once removed and existing outside of the human being. It's really incredible to witness.
