What would make a man with a well-paying job, a beautiful family, a daughter he had just adopted and great future plans jump all the way from the 17th Floor, taking his own life?
Did he Jump or was he pushed?
We might never know, however on this episode of LNS, the late Stephen Mumbo's brother George Waore is speaking for the first time about his brother's life as he also takes us through his own hard life in the UK and why he quit his well paying job in Kenya to start from scratch in London
He will also take us deeper into what kind of a man Steve was, why he doubts he jumped and how he wants people to remember him

Thank you George for highlighting and summarising life in the UK so well in such few words! Our families back home have too much expectations for us and have no idea how life is in the UK! George, his lovely wife Catherine and their children are the most amazing family I know! Thank you for being a voice for your brother. I pray that someone somewhere shades light to what really happened to him.🙏

I almost thought George was talking about Canada. It isn't different over here. When many of us moved from Jamaica to Canada it was more than a culture shock. You won't get the same professional job you had in your country of birth unless you've had the opportunity to be taken under the wings of some of your own people already living in the diaspora and, who are already established in the same profession. You'll have to start all over again, working from the bottom up. The good thing however is that you'll get there eventually after you have been established. There are usually two options: you can either work for someone thereafter or, start your own business.

I am a wife of an auditor working in one of the big 5 audit firms the stress, deadlines and pressure auditors get, it's wanting. We hardly eat dinner together, hubby comes home exhausted ,we can't even hold a discussion, work phone calls , he works even on Sundays in busy seasons,we would love to have atleast a normal life. Auditing firms need to do sth about this, for crying out loud they are human beings.

My brother got depression, refused to go wlto work for like 5months, they stopped paying him, took him to rehab, he followed back to go back to work, they transfered him to anoher place, he went and he has been working for the last 4months and they won't pay him worse they won't say why his salary is not coming and they can see he is still struggling to be normal. Wokring as an auditor especially in govement insituation is hard.

It was horrible, if you are not careful it will drive you nuts and to the grave, im glad i came out alive, will never go and work in that place anymore even though they expect me to go work with them, Im just eagerly waiting for their call so i can put them in their place.

The problem is when we put our jobs above everything imagine working 20 hrs a day and you have a family even God who owns us does not get that much its evil remember what God wanted to do When the israelites turned against God and worshipped idols ,He wanted to wipe them all out!Thats why we can't even hear our inner voice or instinct that its not right to sacrifice all that time for a job which somebody else can do and no money is worth your time cause its priceless.Life is priceless!Imagine this guy had quit that job realizing its too toxic for him and gotten a much better environment to work in what wonderful thing he would have done. But on the other hand we have to learn to say No!
