I heard "stuck" on some obscure 88.9 channel that only played underground metal on Sunday nights from 8 to 11 p.m. Used to sit in my car, smoking weed every Sunday night just listening to the music. It was really the only option to hear underground music besides from a friend or going to see a show in Boston. I heard that song and the hunt was on. I went to probably 20 different music stores looking for a Tape or CD from a band called Limp Bizkit. NO ONE had heard of them. I ended up having to go into downtown Boston to the biggest music store we had around. Think it was Tower records but it may have been Newbury comics. Finally fucking found it and it instantly became my favorite CD. Not only did i play that shit daily over the next year, maybe year and a half but i told everyone i knew and made them listen. I got so many people hooked on Bizkit. We had dreams of them blowing up and making the big time 😂. We knew they were going to make it but didn't know at the same time. Then one day we're cruising down the beach. It's myself and 2 other friends and another 3 girls we were talking to in a shitbox gold Nissan Pathfinder and out of NOWHERE we hear the opening riff of "Faith" and "Well i guess it would be nice”. We had to double check we didn't switch to CD on the radio. Nope! It was playing on the FUCKING RADIO!! We all lost our fucking shit!! They fucking made it!!! They're in the radio!!!! Then the rest was history!!
