Skelton Slay8er Nice dude, the best tip I have is to be consistent. I played everyday and now I can play tons of songs. I took a small break for like 2 weeks and I already got a bit worse. But after playing again is was easy to get back into. Also if you want a good series of videos to learn I recommend Jim Pankey kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqTaeKOmma-mlcU

I know it is an old message, but if you could me giva a tip on something I'd be thankfull. I play the guitar for some year (not a great guitar player, but ok). I'm trying to learn to play the banjo, but I can't get used to that "thumb pick". Any good exercise for this? Greetings from Brazil.

Started playing banjo in 7th grade 1978 took many years off. I am playing again and this is awesome. It's funny I had a medley I did on stage with my band. And as a surprise I would whip out the banjo and do parts of this and led zepplin with some pearl jam mixed in and Finnish with some Bella fleck sounding dittys!! The crowed would go ape shit😊
