Skynyrd and a couple of The Outlaws. Outlaws must have opened. You know that party lasted all night! In Jan. of 76' I saw Skynyrd in Nashville. The bottom of Ronnie"s T-shirt says Nashville (easy to see at the beginning). Wish I could make out the top. I sure as hell miss these guys. I miss the 70s'. Good times. peace...

Damn I would have loved to have been behind Ronnie on stage... Most every lead singer I’ve ever worked with could take lessons from him....I don’t think they (singers) realize what all they could learn from an ol Florida country boy singer. But the guy was sheer genius... Gary pretty damn good too... never heard him miss a note. Even though he’s pissed me off plenty, gotta give the man props.. Allen was an innocent soul and my favorite guitarist... He was tormented in ways he couldn’t cope, god rest his soul... Ed was just Ridiculously good, at 17 was playing lead for a touring group.... His sense of time and playing on the off beat was the best..... Steve gains was just a natural born rock and roll fantasy... full package that I’m sure would have went on to front his own group had he lived.....

Awesome with Hughie & Billy : The band was definitely feeling the loss of Ed King leaving & needed the 3rd guitar which Steve Gaines would eventually provide. Gary & Allen were keeping it tight & giving it the Skynyrd vibe.
