Vieri-Crespo, you really couldn't find a better pair of strikers in Europe that season. Inter deserved so much more, but as usual they were unlucky and self-destructing.

@@alvinsluis805 Van Nistelrooy was perfect, but at that time he was played as a lone striker at ManUtd, with Scholes behind him. That's also why Forlan failed there, SAF only played with 1 striker by that time...

@@giannb5145 imagine how hard it was to win the cl in that time. juve inter ac milan roma were all world class teams. Ajax my fav club was in the second poul with roma valencia and arsenal were also world class compared to now I bet real madrid could never win 3 cl titles in a row back in those days with the same team.
