These types of reviews take me a long time to test for to be honest; because I know people may blind buy like you did, so I want to come as "correctly" as possible. I only limit myself to calligraphy rose by Aramis considering the cost implications involved in your choice, but is not a wrong choice only that one has pay to more. Try my pick and make comparison of the roses.

You could be a great voice over for national geographic channel;) You make the fragrance visual and you give people a good impression of the fragrance. Even a deaf guy should understand how this fragrance smells because of the visual elements that you use. In general i'm not a fan of rose based fragrances but Lyric is one of the best ones. Like fragboy stewie said, your videos are short documentaries.

amouage actually lost a lot of respect from me. I bought my first bottle and I went with Reflection Man. I opened the box and magnetic cap snaps on at a 45 degree angle. if I'm paying amouage prices, I want the presentation to be good. great review though. I've always been interested in this one

I don't recommend blind buying period. But if you do and it doesn't work out, well, that's not on me. :P I know in Southern Ontario, you can sample the entire line at Niche Essence in Toronto, if you are in the area. In Vancouver, The Perfume Shoppe Canada is great too. But for the YOLO-blind buy, try Fragrancebuy.ca, FragranceNet.com [code: BYPE6], or Fragrancex.com. I'd at least try to sample it IRL if possible and then buy from one of those sites. Hope this helps. =]

I got my Lyric Man from FragranceNet.com in 2014. That being said, I have no recommendations on where you buy your fragrances from. Wherever you can get them for at the lowest rate, of course. That and whoever distributes to your country. I live in Canada, so the rate I pay on both the products/shipping/customs will likely be different than you if you live elsewhere.

Great review Manny. But Lyric to me smells like cheap soap. The note of rose is too in your face as well. It's hard to smell the lime on my skin.

HI MANNY EXCELLENT REVIEW. I DISLIKED THIS FRAG AFTER A COUPLE OF WEARINGS USING MY SAMPLE. THOUGHT IT WAS TOO FEMININE AND DARING. Can you PLEASE change that background music. It gets soooo repetitive during the whole video. I literally can't sit through the whole video with that on. And I know your going for that monotone voice also but maybe a little pep in the voice? Again just some advice I would like haha. Your Chanel. It's just that music in the video is so repetitive that it gives me a headache so I don't like watching the video but I like how you explain your fragrances so I want to watch.

I want to come across as overly objective so that's why I go for the monotone thing. It's my journalist background. Maybe some enthusiasm is in order, yeah. As for the BGM, I understand totally. I am actually waiting on a few lengthy tracks from my producer friend instead of a loop that is annoyingly continuous. It's just tough as far as the "fair use" on the BGM side of things. You know, trying to find a long BGM track that I won't get dinged for. So I am just getting my friend to produce some tracks for me. Have definitely thought about the loop's repetitive nature though. Thanks for the feedback!
