The saddest part of this is how much false hope they had. The whole thing was the saddest sweet nightmare, they both ran away from the truth of their reality and Morpheus has to wake them up. Whole thing was hard to watch

I didn’t really care for this part of the plot and her acting. She sleep with a creation of the dreaming so she basically sleep with Dream indirectly. It was intended to sad but I wasn’t impressed. I think Tom set the tone and her acting bored me.

These are not Lyta and Héctor. Lyta was Wonder Woman daughter, and Héctor Hawkman and Hawkgirl son, heirs of superheros and superheros themselves. Their story of LOVE ,although obscure,is One of the greatest in comics. Fortunately Héctor did come back again as Dr Fate and eventually found Lyta again.

As a JSA and Infinity Inc fan I agree that this is not our Earth Two Hector and Lyta. However... in terms of TV and cinema Hector looks as though he could be the son of the Hawkman from the upcoming Black Adam movie. Lyta also looks like she could be the daughter of Wonder Woman as her hair is brunette black ( instead of the comics accurate blonde after her dad Steve Trevor ).

Also, as the daughter of a Greek Amazon she should have known what happens when someone tries to circumvent fate: they always end of causing it to happen anyway.

@@Stormkrow280 Lyta conceived Daniel while Héctor was alive in the original story. And Héctor wasnt exactly a Ghost, he took the Alive body of Garrett Sandford (and reshaped it), he had this reincarnation thing as his parents the Hawks, and could even go phisically one hour daily yo Earth, he has been years doing so and nothing bad happened. In comics, what Morpheus did was way worse.

In the comics it was more brutal, he didnt let him even to say farewell. Fortunately Héctor,as hus father Hawkman, is in the resurrección cycle, and came back some years later as Dr Fate, and found Lyta again.

Thats DC showing off how different they are to Marvel XD heroes reborn & ultimates. DC mimics animangas in torturing their heroes even if theyre Supers. Did the same to JSA. Stuck in limbo fighting to prevent Ragnarok & the moment they got out along came Monarchs Extant & Parallax to kill most of them off & defeat the remaining supervivors in most degrading ways and still mocking they for using anime agedown spells. Truly discouraging. Menace to all heroes wannabes cuz it shatters their dreams much like Dr. Deestiny and Morpheus alike. And poor Doc Fate is history in cinemass while Doc Strange is alive& kicking ready to complete a trilogy.

Héctor original self was the superhero Silver Scarab, and his wife Lyta was Fury, both sons of superheros as well (Héctor of Hawkman, Lyta of Wonder Woman). He took the role of Kyrbys Sandman but only for a short while.

So much for a normal life as a civilian. Should have remained as Themysciras JSA Fury instead. Worst part of it is that MAGA who read original whitewashed Hector Hall must be thrilled to watch such a sweet woke couple destroyed. Particularly for Lyta Trevor being daughter of oldfashioned original WonDer Woman from Paradise island. That goes to show how forces of nature are merciless downpouring on either WASPs or Wokes.
