Good evening too in Europe. Taro is a tuber like yums and potatoes. These plants could cause allergic reactions though; they should not be eaten uncooked and should be peeled- off properly. Some people eat the leaves like soup of green vegetables ( tastier cocos milk ), while the stems could be added as soup ingredients when the fibers- like parts are peeled- off. They are famous among the locals of the tropicals and sub- tropics areas; they grow as bananas and bam- boos are. In Europe they could be grown in the Greenhouse if the locals want to eat these kind of tubers....
