Lytle Creek off road camping Part 2 - Beautiful waterfront Lunch site found heading home

After waking up to a great morning sunrise I pack up, head down a cloudy trail and find a spot to enjoy a hot bagel sandwich. Lytle creek is definitely on the return list to explore more. Looking at the Cal Fire website and unfortunately it seems Lytle Creek camping areas where hit. They will most likely close the entire trail now. Please check before heading out there.

It's been a few years, but have been back up in that area. Enjoyed the area. Did a mid night hike up Baldy from the backside.

Stockton flats is awaome yellow post camping but tired of seeing trash please clean your camp before you leave get a map from ranger station

i think i was at #8 and trash was not bad when i went. But yes i have noticed more trash on the trails. You should try Mt. Pacifico Campground.. Im going to post a video soon. Its off the N3 Angeles Forest Hwy close to the Palmdale side. Intersection is 3N17 forest service road. No trash because i believe it just opened up.
