Me and my pal first heard this in ‘91 in a club in Manchester called The Wiggly Worm in Millionaires. It was the last tune of the night after the dibble had done their walk round. Our heads fell off!! We buzzed off it all night. We ran into Eastern Bloc at soon as we could and sang it to the bemused folks behind the counter, I think we even bust some moves while we did our bit, you couldn’t help but, it’s a bad tune. “Oh you mean MANIC, IM COMING HARDCORE” they all said, “Ere y’ar, last copy, it’s a tenner”, I’d’ve paid a ton if I had it, I had to have it. Still got it now, gonna play it at my 50th, deffo at my funeral. Absolutely buzzing! Peace and Love xx

I was 18 years old when this track came on the scene and I still love it and can say just one thing about it ... there are just a few songs better than this (like N-Joi tracks) and this is going to be my funeral song one day for sure as it actually summarizes how I lived my whole life ;) I´M COMING HARDCORE!!

Am an old fart now. 39yrs. Loved my scene. Disco burgers. Disco people. In the disco. Luv that's all. Being old, memories come back. Google is amazing. This is one of those precursor tracks. I love Sasha and progressive. Layers. Gonna wet myself. Amen. Not on iTunes dammit

I used to cross the border into Donegal from Derry to go raving. We often went past British Army checkpoints and we would talk to the squaddies about the DJ’s and what we had taken. You were the same as us at the End of the day I could see that early on. You were sent to do your job wasn’t your fault you are in Ireland. Peace to you and all yours from Ireland

“The kids of today” will have their own time, make their own history and memories. You can’t quantify someone else’s ‘experience’ nor should you feel ‘sorry’ for ‘them’...

Fuck me. Those who'd been around the dance scene since the last gasps of electro, and then early chicago house and detroit techno. bit of garage, bit of r&b, loved to dance. Then hardcore developed, and the massive, insane big raves!

Yeah - I was part of the jazz-funk and electro scene in London and the South East before the jack tracks started to hit and 18 months later acid house happened - three quarters of us on the acid house scene in London came direct from the old funk and electro scene in London, Great days in 1988/89 but I had too wait till 1996 and the start of the trance golden era for the music I'd been waiting for all my life to arrive. I even had a few years 1990-94 away from the rave scene before I came back. The booze had taken over in those 4 or 5 years and I never went further than my local boozers or mainstream nightclubs but i eventually got it under control and got back on the rave scene around 1995.
