I have no idea why I oddly relate to his character, I can't say I went through what he went thro and definitely don't have DID, but I've had a rough childhood and tried my best to just hide away all the shit I went thro by masking it all and just acting like it never happened. the way khonshu used all that against him and just manipulated him into thinking this was the only thing he could do to make up for all the things he did in his life, but infact is only making things worse and further sending him into irreversible damage ( with his DID and mental health).. the manipulation and confusion. Khonshu reminds me of how my own parents acted towards me, thinking that what they do is what's best, only to question everything you've done in your life. poor Marc, I hope by the end of the series he gets the peace and quiet life he wishes for

About 20 years ago, I gave up red meat. 18 years ago, though, I was going through a rough patch and had a double cheeseburger. I would have normally felt guilty about it, but I felt very emotionally detached at the time. I think it was a similar thing for Steven…he was really looking forward to this date, but because of circumstances he can’t control and doesn’t even understand yet, he misses out and just feels so miserable about it, he makes an exception.
