regarding Kenners "we really do care" policy. me and my brother did send Vampire back because when we bought it (in the 80s) ,it wouldnt stay in motorcycle mode. as you know the spring is tempermental, anyway within a few weeks we got a replacement vampire with a new Floyd figure. no proof of payment needed or shipping costs. Kenner really did care about making their customers happy.

I believe the top is meant to rotate, like a tank. This is meant to be a sort of wheeled all-terrain tank-type vehicle. Very cool. One of my favorite MASK Vehicles and a great replacement for Firecracker, in my opinion. Firecracker was neat, sort of like the MASK equivalent of Jackhammer, an armed land vehicle, but this is better. And for whatever it's worth, his copilot occasionally drove "Firecracker II", an exact copy of the original, on occasion, after this vehicle was introduced. Hurricane is even in the intro right from the beginning, so it's clear this was meant to be always introduced into the show. Not sure I would say Hurricane "quickly" replaces Firecracker, either, since that vehicle appeared in a good number of episodes.

Man...I am right now in 1986 playing with my Mask collection🤣 This is one of the vehicles I never had...a friend of mine had it...and I think it's one of the best looking Mask toys. I love your channel man...awesome work!!!

Also I believe they had to use the black windows to cover up some of the mechanisms present in this vehicle, which would be ugly and ruin the look of the car in its original form, and ruin the illusion and "surprise" of the transformation.

I always thought the cartoon was weird to show this vehicle in the intro way before it was actually used.

Hurracane was introduced on the first season of the MASK animated series Kenner did not named the product yet, the series named the product Black Thunder DIC Enterprises could not think of an infinitive name.

A reboot of M.A.S.K. would be great! The did release Matt Trakker in GI JOE a few years back as Operative Trakker! Shame they didn't follow it up really. M.A.S.K. toys have shot up in price these last few years, I got most of mine about 10 years ago and they were alot cheaper then. Some of the Split Seconds line go for silly money now! T-Bob is still cheap though!
